Why this garden is known as "the garden of Salman Al-Farsi", located in Madinah. Here is why! Salman had traveled across lands searching for the true religion until he finally reached Medina. When he recognized the signs of prophethood, he accepted Islam immediately. But he was still a slave. His master agreed to free him only under a very heavy condition: • Plant 300 date-palm trees • Pay 40 ounces of gold The task was nearly impossible for a slave. The Prophet ﷺ told the companions to help Salman. They gathered the saplings, but the Prophet ﷺ said: “Bring them to me so I may plant them with my own hands.” The Prophet ﷺ personally planted the trees one by one. By the permission of Allah, every tree took root and began growing immediately, except one which had been planted by someone else. The Prophet ﷺ replanted it, and it also grew. Later, the Prophet ﷺ gave Salman a small piece of gold. It seemed far too little to equal 40 ounces, but when it was weighed, it miraculously matched the exact amount required. And with that, Salman al-Farsi was freed. #Madinah #المدينة_المنورة
