That’s why ADL is proud to champion the bipartisan Jewish American Security Act introduced by Senator Jacky Rosen and Sen. James Lankford. While rooted in the urgent need to address antisemitism, the bill strengthens protections that help keep all communities safe from hate-fueled violence.

I'm exhausted & angry. Angry with a world that allowed the dehumanization of Israelis, sanitized the evil of antizionism & dignified terrorism as ‘resistance.’ As I said on Morning Joe, Hamas is committed to 1 thing: killing Jews. Not a 2SS or a peaceful resolution of conflict, but murdering Jews.

What happened yesterday didn’t happen in a vacuum. West Bloomfield now can be added to the long list of Jewish communities who have experienced the terror and trauma of a synagogue attack. They felt it firsthand. The rest of us are reeling, too. As I shared with Wolf Blitzer on CNN, Jewish people too often are accused of conspiracies or scapegoated for the world's problems. This isn’t new. It’s been happening for centuries. But I'm sick of the hypocrisy we're hearing from politicians to podcasters, candidates and commentators. You don’t get to say you abhor antisemitism and then blame the Jewish people or the Jewish state for the conflict in the Middle East. It’s gaslighting and we're tired of it. Sick and tired of it.

The stories coming out of Israel fill me with anguish that I’ve never known before. I’ve said this before & I said it again on CNN with @katebolduan — Do not call members of Hamas fighters or glorify them as militants. Call them what they are: murderers, terrorists & barbarians.

In one of the many nightmarish pieces of propaganda generated by Hamas, we saw a video of Evyatar. They forced him to dig his own grave. It was beyond horrific And yet now, we see him reunited with his parents, Avishai and Galia David. There's a moment in this video when you can see Avishai exhale. It comes from deep within, as if he's been holding his breath for more than two years. Now he can finally breathe. All of us finally can breathe.

As I said on Morning Joe, security personnel saved the lives of 140 preschool children in West Bloomfield MI yesterday when an assailant rammed a car packed with explosives into a synagogue. 140 preschool children. It’s not normal that every synagogue, Jewish day school, and summer camp needs a security director. I don't care what you think about a conflict on the other side of the world. If you blame all Jewish people or make wild accusations, you're creating the conditions that allowed this to happen and almost guarantee it will happen again.
