Mayor pitches up with a whole compliance circus, points fingers, lectures him on “illegal foreigners,” underpayment and PPE… And the farmer calmly asks: “Are you coming to buy butternuts?” That one question says everything. A man trying to farm is treated like a criminal on his own land. Disrespectful. Demeaning. Completely out of order.
