There was a researcher back years ago/ 100 years ago, Dr. Weston A. Price, who traveled around the world looking for populations of people who didn't have dental decay and he found them. He found that there was a common denominator; they did not use what he termed, the food of commerce. They were kind of isolated like the Samoan Islands, Eskimos, people up in the mountains of Switzerland where they did not have sugar in their diet. He got permission in some areas to dig up the graves and examine the teeth and in some of the areas he found at the time of death, which was usually between 70 & 80 years of age, these people had 1 cavity per 1000 teeth at the time of death & now it is very difficult to find that in kids at 2 years old.”
