I am tired of the silence. Tired of the excuses. Tired of the political correctness. Tired of vulnerable children being failed while adults protect broken systems and failed ideologies. This speech was not easy to give. But if we cannot speak honestly about the violence, neglect and dysfunction destroying too many lives in remote communities, then nothing will change. Children deserve safety before ideology. Before symbolism. Before politics. My niece was loved. She should still be here. Watch my full Senate speech below 👇

CHARLIE KIRK Why did the ABC downplay one of the most significant political assassinations in recent US history? On 11 September, the ABC’s flagship 7.30 program ignored the assassination of Charlie Kirk, while commercial outlets covered it extensively. Instead, the ABC ran stories on British politics, youth crime, and prosthetics. Fifteen hours had passed. They had time. They even published an online article the same day. But somehow, no mention on prime-time TV. When the ABC did cover Kirk, they branded him a “far-right activist”. This is a loaded label they don’t apply consistently to others, including organisers of radical pro-Palestine protests. Why the double standard? Australians deserve answers. Our national broadcaster must be accurate, impartial, and consistent. That’s its Charter. 📺 Watch my Senate Estimates exchange here 👇

I’ve been calling for an audit of Indigenous funding for years. When billions of taxpayer dollars are being spent and the outcomes on the ground are still falling short, Australians have every right to ask where the money is going and what it is delivering. It was great to have Angus Taylor MP on the ground in Alice Springs to see these challenges firsthand and renew the call for greater transparency and accountability. The spending black hole must end. Accountability must begin.

🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 Everyday Australians do not want to see our national flag burned. Yet Labor and the Greens hijacked debate and silenced those who dared to defend it. I stood up in the Senate yesterday to call out their disgraceful behaviour. Watch and decide for yourself:

Australians are sick of being told they should be ashamed of their country. We are a nation built by people from every background who work hard, pay their taxes, and love this place. Enough with the grievance industry. It’s time to restore unity, pride, and respect for the Australia we’ve built together. Watch 👇

What happened to the Australian dream of having a go? For generations, Australians started businesses, backed themselves and built something for their families. Today, too many small business owners tell me they’re working harder than ever just to stand still. We should be making it easier to take a risk, create jobs and build something of your own, not harder.

🇦🇺 Proud to Stand for All Australians 🇦🇺 In recent days, there has been discussion about my comments on migration. I want to set the record straight. When I raise concerns about Labor’s mass migration agenda, it's about the numbers – not about any community. Indian migrants, who have come to Australia, have a strong record of integration, embracing our values, working hard in many fields of endeavour, and joining the league of cherished and loyal Australian citizens. My own children share Indian ancestry, and I have strong friendships within the Indian and Sikh communities in the Northern Territory. I deeply value these connections. My concern, as it is for millions of Australians, is Labor’s uncontrolled, unplanned, and unsustainable migration. Labor’s mass migration agenda – an issue of numbers – continues to cause pressures on housing, infrastructure and services. I want a better life for all families whether you’re a migrant, a resident, or a citizen, regardless of your background. But a better life for all families, better housing, better infrastructure and better services requires the restoration of controlled, planned, and sustainable migration.
