A decision by the White House regarding which sub-Saharan African countries will qualify for AGOA next year is imminent. An announcement can be expected within weeks. Although AGOA has been extended until the end of 2028, the White House determines eligibility on an annual basis. It is time to set politics aside and - in the interest of ordinary South African business owners, entrepreneurs, and workers - make the final case for why South Africa must remain part of AGOA. South Africa would suffer immense damage if we were to be expelled from AGOA. Hundreds of thousands of jobs, billions in trade, and hundreds of businesses are at risk. We have been doing our part for months; however, the government continually undermines South Africa’s case. It is a matter of absolute urgency that the South African government changes its stance and repairs its relationship with the USA in the interest of all South Africans.

Thousands of farmers from all over the Netherlands are taking part in a huge protest action in Den Bosch today. The government of the province of North Brabant wants to withdraw the rights of five poultry farmers to farm and thereby destroy these farms. This trend is in line with the current left-wing government in The Hague, which is also undertaking various actions to put pressure on some farmers to stop farming. The attack on farmers in several European countries (especially the Netherlands) is increasing again and the left-wing political elite is also carrying out an attack on rural communities in general. Protests and political change are the only solutions.

There are currently millions of people from poor countries in especially Africa, Asia and parts of Latin America who are trying to find their way to richer countries. Over the past two to three decades, this flow of legal, but especially illegal immigrants, has increased dramatically. The result is that the first signs of complete occupation of towns, cities and even some regions and countries are starting to become clear. In Europe, almost all large cities already have an immigrant population. These immigrants create parallel communities and usually have no need to adapt or assimilate. Most immigrants bring their own religions, but often also primitive cultural baggage with them to rich countries. The consequences are the loss of high-trust societies, culture clashes, an increase in violence and especially violent crimes and sexual crimes and ultimately a growing anxiety among the ethnic populations of countries flooded by immigrants. This leads to political mobilization and a growing outburst of frustration and anger. In South Africa we are currently seeing this, and as in this video also in Northern Ireland. Tensions are rising across Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, but also Japan, South Korea, China, Chile, Argentina, the Dominican Republic and last week even Algeria. The need for borders and a global push back against illegal immigration is now essential. The failure of so many governments to do so is becoming one of the great crisis points of our time.
