Control: Resonant players, have you discovered The Park? I believe this is a completely optional area but I thoroughly recommend locating and exploring it, it’s one my favourites. So much to find here and some exceptionally memorable side quests you don’t want to miss!

I’m particularly interested to see how Insomniac handle Wolverine’s healing-factor. Raven nailed it with X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Uncaged Edition), the layers of Logan’s anatomy and regeneration animations were truly impressive for the time 👌🏽🔥

As brilliant as Control: Resonant is, the boss fights were a letdown for me ngl. Visual spectacles for sure, but they got drawn out and repetitive fast, especially towards the end. Completely outclassed by the world design. How did the boss fights land for you?

007 First Light’s campaign is said to be around 20 hours long. Like Capcom’s recent successes with Resident Evil Requiem and PRAGMATA. Nice to see AAA dialing back the open-world bloat, this is the kind of single-player revival we need. What do you think, is shorter better??

CD Projekt Red left money on the table. They easily could’ve charged for The Witcher 3 Remastered, but they made it a free upgrade instead. Name another big publisher that does that.

Beast of Reincarnation feels like 2026’s Lost Soul Aside. They share the same lack of polish and untapped potential — that solidly mid, slightly disappointing feeling. It’s not a bad game, but it’s not the next NieR:Automata, Black Myth: Wukong, or even Stellar Blade.

If we’re talking older RPGs with GOOD COMBAT Kingdom of Amalur deserves a mention! 👌🏽 This game was MASSIVELY UNDERRATED for breaking that trend, great RPG systems and some of the best action-combat in the genre at the time 😮‍💨⚔️🔥 But yeahh, having grown up on action-adventure and hack n slash games, the combat in RPGs back in the day (like Dragon Age: Origins and World of Warcraft) really used to throw me off 😅 This game was a genuine breath of fresh air, and ticked all the boxes for me! 😌

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’s Legendary Ships are no joke! Wouldn’t even bother attempting them before you’re Jackdaw is fully upgraded 😮‍💨 All of them took multiple attempts, especially the double boss! Anyone else faced these guys, which was the most challenging??

I see a lot of skepticism around Crimson Desert, and I get it, it’s extremely ambitious! BUT, if this game is able to deliver on the sheer scale, content and level of interactivity their promising, this could be a generation defining experience 😳

Crimson Desert seems to have a case of mistaken identity among fans. Anyone else notice this?? Despite Pearl Abyss purposefully marketing it as an “action-adventure game” I still see a lot of people and outlets labelling it as an action RPG. This title will be more akin to something like Red Dead Redemption II than Skyrim or The Witcher III imo🤔

I see a lot of people complain that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is a Castlevania game in name only. Is this really the case? What should I play to get the true Castlevania experience?

I once watched a YouTube video or something where this guy said, something along the lines of: “If I’m going to be staring at someone’s ass for 20+ hours, I’d sure as hell prefer it were a woman’s” Can’t remember who it was but that always stayed with me… 😅

I love Gears of War: E-Day but performance on the Series S is rough 😮‍💨 It’s been a tough trade-off but I prefer the sometimes choppy framerate to constant muddy visuals. Really wish this got a PlayStation port. What are you playing on, and how’s it running for you?

Already, these bats from Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse are some of the most annoying enemies I’ve ever had the displeasure of fighting in a video game! Are bats normally this frustrating in this franchise?

This! 👇🏽 We also need more 3D platformers, we’ve gotten some really solid entries in the genre (Astro Bot, Pyschonauts 2, & Creash 4) kinda recently but they’re too few and far between! 😭

Off to an interesting start with Marvel’s Wolverine… Is this comic book accurate? He’s always been depicted as feral and animalistic, but this opening is giving Spot from The Good Dinosaur 🤔

I rarely use fast travel, if I am using it often it’s likely due to poor world design and/or unrewarding exploration. Well-made open worlds will have you avoiding fast travel like the plague!

JOHN WICK IS GETTING AN ACTION VIDEO GAME! 🔥 FINALLY, we won’t have to rely on mods or skins! Whose interested?? 👀 Lionsgate confirmed during its Q2 2026 earnings call on November 6, 2025, that a big-budget AAA John Wick video game is officially in development. Details are scarce but a full announcement is expected “soon”. I doubt we’ll be playing this anytime soon but it’s certainly an exciting prospect!
