Yesterday, alongside my team, I paid a courtesy visit to the Iyaloja-General, Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo. Our discussion focused on how to encourage our young market men and women to take advantage of INEC's ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) as part of efforts to promote active participation and inclusion of young people in our political process. I thank Iyaloja for her invaluable words of wisdom, encouragement, and prayers. I look forward to strengthening our collaboration with her office and working more closely with market women across the state in our shared commitment to the prosperity of our communities.

It was a great honour to pay a courtesy visit to our Royal Father, the Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja. As a father, Kabiyesi has remained a model of duty, service, and uncommon devotion to our collective good. It was therefore a privilege to share from his wealth of knowledge, experience, and invaluable counsel. May the Almighty God continue to keep and bless Kabiyesi with good health and abundant wisdom as he continues his service to our great nation.

Yesterday, I returned home to supporters, party members, and stakeholders from across the Badagry division. I was warmly received by my father, HRM Oba (Dr.) Sejiro Olalekan Ogungbe James; Okiki Arolagabde II, Aholu Henwa of Kweme Kingdom; and the good people of Kweme Community. Thereafter, I proceeded to the grand reception at Badagry City Hall, where I was graciously hosted by the leadership of the councils in Badagry Division, royal fathers, and our people from across the division. The gathering reflected the unity, pride, love, and unwavering commitment of our people to the journey ahead. I deeply appreciate the goodwill, prayers, encouragement, and support extended to me. I also used the occasion to once again express our profound gratitude to our father and president, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his exemplary leadership, and our party leaders for their steadfast support. My sincere appreciation goes to our royal fathers, political leaders, stakeholders, women, youth, and the entire people of Badagry Division for making this homecoming truly memorable. Mibayi Gbau!

By giving young people a seat at the table, we are not merely fulfilling a mandate; we are investing in stronger institutions, sustainable development, and progressive governance as guided by the enduring philosophy and leadership principles of our president, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. This was the centrepiece of my conversation at the 2026 Get Women Conference hosted by the Get Women Initiative.
