Militants continue to hit strategically vital bridges in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. Following Bannu Suicide attack, the militants last night have blown Lwara Bridge near the Fateh Khel Police Check Post on Miranshah Road. The said bridge is literally critical connective artery between Bannu (Links Ghwara Bakakhel, Jani Khel) & North Waziristan. Such bridges hold critical operational value in conflict zones, particularly across the Bannu–Lakki Marwat–Waziristan axis. The damage hampers counter terrorism efforts while enable the militants' movement, regrouping & isolating the remote areas.

Two abandoned government schools in Narmi Khel, Bannu, were converted into TTP suicide-training centre. The compounds, located inside the Girls’ Primary School & the nearby Ayub/Musharaf School, had been used for training suicide bombers & and indoctrination by militants ofHafiz Gul Bahadar faction. Both sites were destroyed after intelligence confirmed active suicide-bomber training & movement of reinforcements between the two facilities.

He claimed the 'Jehad' was launched on fatwas issued by “500 Pakistani ulema.” He also suggested that the same religious class must now prove TTP wrong & persuade it to abandon militancy or stop opposing it. This leaves Pakistan’s anti militancy pragmatic Ulema more vulnerable.
