Unpopular opinion: the White Lotus retaking Ba Sing Se during Sozin’s Comet was honestly more impressive than most of the fights in the finale 😭 A bunch of old masters walked into a city powered-up Fire Nation army territory during the comet and completely turned the war around in one night.

Unpopular take: Zuko didn’t beat Azula because he became stronger than her. He won because he finally stopped fighting her like she was a monster that needed to be defeated. Throughout the series, Zuko fights emotionally. Azula fights strategically. That’s why she usually controls the pace of their encounters. But during the Agni Kai, the roles flip.
