Fun fact: Kya immediately recognized how dangerous Ming-Hua was and switched from standard waterbending to constant mobility and defense. Most people forget Kya was surviving against one of the deadliest waterbenders in the franchise with pure experience alone 😭

Fun fact: Aang activating the Avatar State against Yakone is one of the VERY few times we see the Avatar State trigger purely to break bloodbending without the Avatar even moving a muscle. Yakone really thought he had the strongest man alive folded until the past lives said “absolutely not” 😭
