Was hesitant to post bc last time I did on X I got trashed with the worst comments and content was too sensitive to bother dealing with that shit again. However, I think on a day like today I will take the insults if it helps anybody I am posting this on World Suicide Prevention Day with the chance it can help. It’s a battle a lot of us deal with and a having a daily battle between my ears is not something I signed up for. But with that said, years ago I made a DECISION to CHOOSE life and promise I will choose to make this same decision every day moving forward. Instead of being angry and resentful about my pain I now look at it as a way to be of service to others. It’s now my honor! Please, please, please choose life. You are worth it! We all are. One of my favorite days of the year!!! Our 18th annual NFL Head Coaches day-drinking day at the NFL Owners Meeting. I started this with Mike Tomlin 18 years ago (yes, we raised a glass to him) to get the head coach fraternity to bond together, bounce things off each other, ask each other for advice and to celebrate how cool life is TOGETHER. Leaders take care of everybody else but who takes care of the leaders? This is a cool way to bond so these leaders can all take care of each other. Trying to make it less lonely at the top! Oh, and the stories that are shared are CLASSIC!!! We had 28 of 32 coaches show!!! Oh, and I brought my brothers Michael Phelps and Mark “The Smashing Machine” Kerr along as well to punch up the day. Classic day!!!! Hilarious convos! (Oh, forgive me for the lousy camera work, lol) Side note: everyone always asks who picks up the bill? McVay did it this year. My 35th annual NFL Training Camp Tour rolls on to Denver. First off, the new $175 million facility built by owners Carrie and Greg Penner is UNREAL!!! Best one I’ve ever been to. I am going to give y’all an inside look at some of their recovery and regen tools in my next IG reel. One thing I don’t get is why others aren’t more bought in on believing in Denver Broncos. Year 35 of my annual NFL Training Camp Tour is OVERRRRR!! Thank GOD!! I had about 23, 24 teams/stops from July 24 to today. In addition to what I say in the video, some players and teams who also stood out who I hadn’t mentioned yet on the road. I was there for Myles Garrett first practice and it was RIDICULOUS how disruptive and dynamic he was. Blew everyone out of the water. Also, I know I talked in posts about Caleb Williams and Jalen Hurts but every year I am more and more impressed with Jordan Love and his growth. I’m a big believer in him. I liked what I saw from the Cowboys too. No drama and a revamped defense. Yup, I’m buying Dallas. Also think the Baltimore Ravens are going to be a very tough draw for teams this year. I’m sure I’m leaving out a ton butttt I’m heading home to Rosie for first time since July 23rd. That plus I’m delirious. And thanks to all the teams for letting me work out at their spots, rehab and recover with them. Don’t know how i would do this tour without that. Mental health action tip for the day… A GRATITUDE LIST. This changed my everyday being and gave me a new way to start each day. I learned this from an actual Thai monk in Ko Samui, Thailand. He asked me to write down 100 things I’m grateful for. At the time I was in a VERY VERY DARK PLACE. Absolutely self loathing, mired in depression and couldn’t see the light at the other side of the tunnel. So this monk asked me to write down 100 things from my whole life. People, I know my life is GREAT, but too often between my ears just sucks and I didn’t sign up for this shit! I was literally stuck at 1 and he asked me, “You like your watch?” Ummm “yeah, I can use things like that?” “Yes,” he said, “It can be anything. What about GOD? You say you’re a big GOD guy? That’s 2. How about your son? You love your son? That’s 3.” He asked me to think of things my whole life and we’ve all had some good moments. I started slow but eventually I got to 100. In the weeks that followed… I read that list every single day. Now, it’s how I start every morning.I do a list of 10 things I’m grateful for from the previous day or coming up today. And you can have some of the same things each day. It’s not restricted… It’s YOUR list. So I now wake up in gratitude instead of anxiety or dread. WAYYY better way to start my day. Stem cells here we come!!!! How beautiful is this place Auragens and Panama City, Panama!!! They have already made such a majorly SIGNIFICANT difference in my health, pain and all my breaks and ruptures! I’ve spent the last 18 years training NFL players in mixed martial arts and gotten beat to shit as a result. But Auragens had already prevented me from a 3-level fusion in my lower back and last year completed healed a biceps tendon tear and two big tears in my rotator cuff. So happy to spend my last week before NFL season begins here with my beautiful bride Rosie TenisonTwins for healing!!! Rosie comes for anti-aging and I do that too. On top of the healing Panama is AMAZING!!! Some of the best culinary experiences we’ve ever had in the world and the people here are so great!! Mental Health Check-In for today… Sorry I fell off from doing these for a while gang but I’m back to walk this walk together with you. People often ask me what’s something I do when I am REALLLLLY struggling, stuck in the gray what’s the best weapon I use to fight back. Power of connection! I call 2 people and tell them I’m struggling. I completely open up to them, am very vulnerable and tell them how bad it is between my ears. That’s my way of leaning into my TEAMMATES! I talk a lot about the power of TEAM. But then, just as important, I call 2 other people and don’t tell them I’m struggling but instead I just check up on THEM!! That’s my way of “Being Of Service” - another huge tool or pillar of mine I can use to fight back. By being of service it’s my way of fighting back my terrible self talk. When you make those last two calls, they always appreciate you caring. While 80 even 90 percent of the time they say they are fine… that other 10 percent, it is powerful!! That 10 percent often says that call came at the right time. They needed a call like that. One particular call, a few weeks later, my friend told me, “Remember when you called me to check up on me? Well, you don’t know this, but you saved my life that day. I wasn’t thinking right and I was planning on taking my life. That call saved me!” WOWWWW!!! Lean into your teammates gang!!! The NFL lost another teammate wayyyyy too young yesterday in Rondale Moore. Absolutely gutting. Listen, to every athlete out there… I will keep saying this over and over and over again… when you are in pain LEAN INTO YOUR TEAMMATES!!!! They WANT to be there for you. A locker room is absolutely magical!!! It’s such a unique FAMILY. I get hiding the pain because I did for 50 years!!! Had the biggest personality to hide really really bad pain. That pain absolutely fucking sucks!! I get jt. You feel like you don’t want to be a burden to others or others won’t understand. Turned out I was wrong!! Life changed when I started opening up. It will for you too and most of all… YOUR TEAMMATES WANT TO BE THERE FOR YOU!!! So if you’re struggling, open up, it’ll only get you closer together. Take THAT plunge… instead of making that other decision. Pleaseeee lean into your teammates. GOD bless!

Mental Health check in from Seattle over by my Seattle Seahawks training camp stop… PRACTICE BEING PROUD!!! My self talk is all often wayyyyy too negative. The roommates in my head are constantly telling me the worst things about myself. But instead of just letting them run rampant I started doing something to fight back against them. Every morning I now turn on a song and for the duration meditate by telling myself things I’m PROUD of about me. Over and over and over. That’s hard for a lot of us. Hard to the point I had to actually write a list on my phone so I can go back to them when my brain wants to go negative and start beating up on me again. The battle is on-going but I’ve had way more mornings now where I start the day kicking the gray’s ass instead of the other way around. Hope this helps. Let’s keep walking this walk together. Rosie and i are eloping to Amalfi Coast exactly ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!! My problem is… when these 2 TenisonTwins dress the same how the hell am i supposed to know which one I’m marrying?!?? Lol I can’t ask for a better sister in law than the one over there (who’s nice enough to watch our dogs for us when we are gone). The two of them have absolutely changed my life.
