This British man has been arrested in Marmaris. Only drink has made him lose it in public but this is not the first time his wife or children have seen his violence. I guarantee it. They know what’s coming. The boy grabs his mum when she throws the phone out to this man- because they know how he will flip his lid at her defiance. When he comes at her - all he can see is the woman and he’s coming to kill her if he can. The children are just objects in his way. All they can do is block the force with which he gets her and he still knocks her out cold. He takes his son and daughter down too. Without care or thought. No regret afterwards. He’s coming forwards again. The speed with which the boy is back on his feet tells you it’s not the first time he’s seen his father like this and he knows what he has to do. There is no shock reaction to delay the boy as would be the case if it was the first time a boy had to defend himself or his mother. He gets straight back to block his way. This is a terrible thing to observe for people who never see this sort of abuse because “behind closed doors” is suddenly exposed in full. A man like this terrorised his family in public. There is no alternative story. I hope that they the woman and children not redrawn as complicit - as some sort of low class villains who all deserve each other. There is only one villain in this piece. It’s him. That man needs locking up for a long time. Preferably in Turkey. His family need removing to safety before they feel the pressure to accept his apologies. They will undoubtedly worry about how all their lives will change if he is locked up. They might not immediately see this as a positive so they need a LOT of support. These are traumatised children and a desperately abused woman and all have a lot of recovering to do. I hope one day they are all free of him. This really hit me in the gut. Watch with care please.

Hello SheffieldPSC Yesterday at your “demo” a young man from your group approached us and followed us as we walked. He was shouting “long live Hamas”. He made a big deal about us being lesbians and how ugly we were. He wanted our names. One of your senior organisers collected him eventually to pull him away and clearly knew who he was . Neither of us had spoken to any of your group or said anything at all. Not a word. Since he belongs to your group and was central to your demo I’ll report your group to the police South Yorkshire Police today for supporting terrorist activity.

I was refused service in The Castle pub after Nottingham Let Women Speak. No reason given other than “you’re with the big group”. I hadn’t done anything or said anything. I asked for 2 halves of lager and was refused service. No reason given other than “associating” with other women in the pub. I don’t know how he manages his pub working out who is associated with whom and what their politics are. It was very “Goody Jean you were seen consorting with….”

I notice the The Green Party didn’t clip this of Mothin Ali in one of his very rare interviews for BBC Politics North. Mothin is pushed a little by Natalie Oliver of Reform about his claims and whilst before this he can’t look at her he finally loses his temper. His fist is curled and it gets closer and closer to her face as he calls her “far-right”. I’m sure this is not the front man they intended us to see.

There was a Jew hunt door to door in Woodseats Sheffield. We ended it within 15 mins because they didn’t like “Jew Hunt” shouting at them. They were collecting addresses of the non-supportive. More gaslighting. This man is challenging the reporter to tell the truth because he knows she daren’t. Yes you look like a man Barry. She would probably lose her job saying so though, and he knows it. When he steps back he’s rubbing it in that they both know he looks fucking ridiculous but she daren’t say it. This is a thrill for him - wielding the power over her. Notice how he downgrades his initial claim he would get “beaten up in the men’s” to “I think they’d look at me very strangely”. You can still have a piss if a man looks at you funny Barry. This bloke would have a good chance of knocking out another man who looked at him funny.
