The oscillation of the cradle reflects the constant push and pull of power in this dystopian society. By the end of the film, we discover that this seemingly innocuous object holds the potential to disrupt the system, offering a glimmer of hope that time can be reset and balance restored. In anticipation of dropping the first of six episodes of our AI TV show in a few days — after a year of pouring my heart into it with incredibly talented people from around the world — and because many of you have asked what I’ve directed in the past, here’s a scene from an episode I directed earlier this year for the hit Amazon series House of David. It involved a motion-control drone, 68 stunt performers and horses, and a complex blend of AI, traditional VFX, on-set special effects, and volume screen work. The production had a crew of roughly 700 people. The 1:30 sequence took four days to shoot in Greece.

I got early access to an update to HeyGen’s avatar IV. It’s pretty special. Over a decade ago I directed a commercial not to unlike this. From pitch to completion it took about 6 weeks and cost 500K. This took me 4 hours. I am notorious for taking a long time on my narrative film’s. This is an experiment that I literally threw together on a Sunday afternoon. To test my ‘instinct’ skills.
