Remember the Queen’s Jubilee Concert? Major stars like Diana Ross, Alicia Keys, Adam Lambert and Queen, Andrea Boccelli + others. Performances from Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, The Lion King & Joseph. Then out steps a man, alone with his guitar. He takes the stage confidently & performs the most beautiful rendition of his love ballad PERFECT. No other accompaniment. Just Ed Sheeran and his perfect song. It was a tribute to our late Queen and Prince Phillip. About midway through, a montage of film clips from their life together plays on a screen as most of us hold our breath and tears start to drop. Not a dry eye anywhere. Everyone near me was dead silent and afterwards, we looked at one another and sniffled. We knew we were saying goodbye. We knew they were getting us ready for the inevitable. Thank you, #EdSheeran for the most amazing performance and tribute to our late Queen. And thank you, Ma’am, for everything. #QueenElizabethII

Queen Elizabeth II 🕊️ We watched the procession in Scotland with the people lined along the route, the tractors cleaned and polished, the horses at attention, the Princess Royal’s deep curtsy in Edinburgh, the vigil and long queue reaching through the night. We rushed to London from Cornwall so we could be there to receive her on her final visit home. This poignant moment, when the outriders turned off their flashing lights and bowed their heads, will stay with me forever.

Still a member of the royal family and the sooner everyone can get that through their minds … Harry stabbed his grandmother in the back and he continues to arrogantly do what he wants, when he wants, however he wants. All staged, performative, transactional abuse of not just the royal family but of our country, culture and traditions, our constitutional monarchy. Thanks to Savanna for catching this:

Here’s Matt Wilkinson talking about that viral video with William and Catherine in Bute. People love Catherine. Everyone wants a selfie and that takes time but they are on a schedule. They spent four hours there talking to people. FOUR HOURS. Think about that next time you tally the number of engagements. From the start, W&C stated they were interested in getting to know us a bit better thru longer, more in depth encounters. It’s not a competition for them. They are simply trying to do good work.

Lovely day for a stroll. Prince Edward, Queen Elizabeth & Prince Philip’s SON, the King’s BROTHER, our DUKE of EDINBURGH casually walking from St James’s Palace where he hosted a luncheon, down The Mall towards Buckingham Palace, past tourists and locals, cabbies and busy traffic. Yet, whingeing Harry claims Britain is soooo dangerous he needs VIP security. Stay home, hairy. Video credit Mariana - The Edinburghs Fan Account

I shall never ever tire of this short clip from the BBC documentary on the coronation. Watch about ten seconds in, the way the Prince of Wales almost blesses his father by affectionately passing his hand over the King’s head, watch their interaction, their smiles, the love in King Charles’ smiling eyes, the way Prince William tickles his father’s cheek. I mean ,.. what more display of love and affection do you want to see? ‘𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’ At the end of the clip, the bishop’s reaction is priceless. #PrinceWilliam #PrinceOfWales #KingCharlesIII #KingCharlesIIITheCoronation

Remembering Queen Elizabeth on what would have been her 98th birthday. The Perfect tribute by Ed Sheeran at the Queen’s Jubilee concert with a tearjerker photo montage featuring Her Majesty and Prince Philip. ‘We were just kids when we fell in love’ ‘I found the one, stronger than anyone I know’ ‘I see my future in your eyes’ I cried then. I’m crying now. I remember it so well. I still get chills as I relive those moments whenever I hear this song. It’s hers now. And Philip’s. Not a dry eye anywhere near me. Everyone was dead silent during his performance. Complete silence afterwards. Then we looked at one another and sniffled. We knew we were saying goodbye. We knew they were getting us ready for the inevitable. She must have been in agony yet she showed up for us, smiling and waving throughout that weekend. The last moments between the Queen and her people. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. 🕊️ In loving memory of Her Majesty The Queen, 1926 - 2022 #QueenElizabethII #EdSheeran

Here’s the recording of Robert Jobson, from his live on Substack. Some of his material is free to read, the rest is behind a paywall. I’ll share a few bits when I am allowed to entice you to subscribe. It’s worth a listen. At one point he said the legacy media no longer has the budget to send reporters on overseas tours. This is one way Jobson is trying to raise ££ to be able to follow our royals on their tours — not as a photographer but as an old-school reporter. The more we support his work, the better (I hope). 35 years Fleet Street reporter, former royal editor for The Sun, best-selling author, dubbed “the grandfather of royal reporting” by The Wall Street Journal
