I've been reluctant to address Buckley Carlson, despite his being one of the most malicious and dishonest lunatics in public life and one of the worst actors in the campaign to malign Erika Kirk, TPUSA, and America more broadly over the last year. I've been reluctant because Buckley is a public figure only owing to the enormous fame of his brother, and because Tucker is not responsible for Buckley's sins. But Tucker is responsible for elevating his brother's stature even as Buckley has spewed one disgusting conspiracy after another. Blake Neff says he tried talking to Tucker about the issue and got nowhere.

I don't know Erika Kirk. I do know Candace Owens. Erika met the moment of her husband's assassination with a grace unimaginable. Candace met the moment of her so-called friend's assassination as she meets every moment -- focused on herself and her insatiable hunger for fame and aggrandizement. If you find yourself believing the latter in her smears of the former, please know you are being manipulated by one of the best in the business. But you're still wrong and in the wrong. Tucker Carlson keeps telling his audience—either directly or laundered through guests—that Islam is no threat to the West and is a better friend to Christians than Israel is. Dan Burmawi spent 19 years inside the worldview Tucker is now defending. He grew up Muslim in Jordan, converted to Christianity, and cannot go home now. He says that defending Israel there is treated as a worse offense than apostasy itself. In our conversation, Danny didn’t mince words: “Tucker Carlson doesn't love Christians…When you defend the same group oppressing your brothers and sisters...when you paint Christians in Israel as oppressed and persecuted, you're a deceiver, you're a liar, you are an enemy of Christians.” Islam was never a better friend to Christians than Israel.
