TUIDE’s SEOYEON mentioned JIHYO on Wendy’s Young Street: Wendy: Your unnie came to support you at this showcase, right? When you look at her outside of this setting... is she still your "unnie"? Or now that you’ve debuted, is she your "sunbaenim"? ...Or both? Seoyeon: I’m still more comfortable calling her "unnie" but now I guess she’s also my "sunbaenim" Wendy: Have you ever called her "sunbaenim" before? Seoyeon: I called her that for the first time yesterday. Seohee: We gave her a signed album yesterday. Seoyeon personally wrote "Jihyo sunbaenim" on the album, and then handed it to her while calling her "sunbaenim" Wendy: That must have felt so strange~ Seoyeon: It felt so weird and amazing at the same time. It kind of felt like I was filming some kind of content. Wendy: Your unnie must have watched your debut stage. What did she say to you? Seoyeon: She said, "You really look like a rookie. You’re kind of cute" But I actually wanted to show her a more professional side of myself, something that felt less like a rookie. And then I thought, if I wasn’t able to convey that side of myself to unnie, maybe there were other people who felt the same way. So it made me think that I should work even harder. #지효 #JIHYO #ジヒョ #TUIDE #SEOYEON

Distant lover choreographer about JIHYO "Jihyo came through yesterday and killed rehearsal, she came in and made a 8 hour day to most dancers she did it in a hour and 30 minutes. Learned all the choreography from the course of about a month ago so we’re really excited to get with jihyo and see how she meshes with the girls, the chemistry on camera" #지효 #JIHYO #ジヒョ

This is what Jihyo said about TWICE's 2022 contract renewal in the OIAM documentary🥹 "When the article said we had renewed, the reactions were 'of course TWICE would re-sign' which felt good but also kind of upsetting because we had agonized so much and talked for such a long time and it being taken as so obvious made me wonder, 'if I had chosen differently would people have seen me badly?' That's what I thought."

Sejeong mentioned Jihyo on her recent WLive: What did I think of the TWICE concert? Waaaaaa They were incredible. They really were. I already knew Jihyo was amazing friend, but seeing her in person made me realize she's even more impressive. she's seriously so cool, I mean... how does she dance that well from the very beginning to the very end without losing any energy? It's truly amazing. #지효 #JIHYO #ジヒョ

A Korean video of Jihyo performing called “The reason why Jihyo is so popular in the West” gained over 1M views and almost 900 Korean comments praising Jihyo's stage presence and hard work The video's content says: “Among TWICE’s fancams, Jihyo is the member who gets the most praise… Unlike idols who act cute or show ‘childlike regression,’ she seems confident, sings passionately, dances hard on stage, and that’s probably why she’s so popular” #지효 #JIHYO #ジヒョ #트와이스 #TWICE

CY: During the renewal I'm sure it was hard for everyone but JIHYO-unnie must've had it the hardest. Because she had to gather all our opinions, communicate with the agency and talk with the members JH: Since it was our first renewal we really didn't know what was right SN: And there weren't many people around to ask NY: A leader who loves our team more and has more affection and more passion and the will to work hard, that's someone you end up following MN: Without JIHYO I don't think I could've done ten years. Because we have JIHYO, we have everything JY: I was one of the members who were torn about renewing. JIHYO really held onto me too. Looking back, I'm of course grateful. A friend who really changed my mind MN: JIHYO is kind of someone who put in so much effort for me. So I'd have more fun in life. She worked so hard for that. Sharing those fun moments with JIHYO made me so happy
