If you want stronger paintings, use bolder strokes. A bold brushstroke isn’t necessarily big or neat … it’s decisive. Before I make a stroke, I decide what I want … what color, what shape, and where it needs to go. Then I leave it alone. Follow for more tips!

Why do I paint with acrylics instead of oils? For me, it comes down to speed. I can build layer after layer without waiting days for the paint to set. That lets me keep the momentum going. Every medium has its strengths, but acrylics fit the way I like to paint.
