How come I just saw her at Lapaz this evening?? Have they been released back into the system to continue their activities?? Dear IGP, this Ghana Police Service deserves a huge round of applause. He is the kind we need to help make Ghana a better place. He stopped this woman who wanted to run across the highway, to use the footbridge instead. And it surprises me how she was being defensive about her decision not to use the footbridge. 🤦🏾♂️ Hon. Dear Ghana Immigration Service, Ministry of the Interior, Ghana Muntaka Mubarak, this is another heads-up from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle. A lot more illegal migrants and child beggars are here sitting comfortably under the flyover so move in now and gather all of them. We all know the 1055 you rounded up on Saturday is just a drop in the ocean. Thousands more are still roaming around and we have to round them all up. We as citizens should also stop giving them money. We giving them money makes them feel begging is lucrative so they will keep coming, and the kingpins involved will also find a reason to be in “business”. The GIS should also establish a hotline where citizens can report and share information, including photos and videos, about the locations of illegal migrants and child beggars for prompt action. #civicsensegh #thinkrightactright #ghanaletsdobetter

In the first week of February, a truck struck the North Dzorwulu pedestrian footbridge, causing it to shift from its pillars. The Ministry of Roads & Highways - Ghana kwame agbodza on Monday, 16 February 2026, announced that the trailer driver responsible for the incident had been arrested and would fully cover the estimated GH¢2.5 million required to repair the damaged structure. Today is Saturday, 11th April 2026, and the condition of the footbridge remains unchanged. We would appreciate it if the ministry could provide any updates on the repair work before the situation worsens, as pedestrians are still using the footbridge. #northdzorwulufootbridge #pedestriansafety
