This was my first TV appearance as hurricane specialist this year, my 5th already on NBC 6 South Florida after retiring as chief meteorologist in early 2022. I’ll be here again to guide South Florida audiences through any and all tropical threats in 2026. Thank you always for your trust in me.

I was invited again as an expert on CNN for The Arena on CNN with Kasie Hunt Hunt. I discussed the increasing frequency of rain 'bombs' due to the warming atmosphere, what cuts to NOAA / NWS meant (or didn't) for the #TexasFloods, and what they'll likely mean for future weather threats
