The short story of Ethiopian 🇪🇹military Yes, the Eritrean 🇪🇷military has been involved in operations supporting the Ethiopian government since the start of the Tigray War in November 2020. Eritrean troops fought alongside the Ethiopian military and allied militias in the two-year conflict, which ended in November 2022 when the Ethiopian government and Tigray forces signed a peace agreement. However, Eritrea was not a party to the agreement and continued to attack Tigrayans through December 2022. Amnesty International has reported that Eritrean troops committed war crimes and possible crimes against humanity in Tigray, including: •Extrajudicial executions of civilians •Sexual enslavement of women •Rape, including gang rape •Keeping women prisoner in their homes •Deprivation of food and water ‼️
