I really love that the brightest spot in HDRIs can now cast shadows in Eevee Next. There are no lights in this scene. So great!

Thanks to lots of help from Campbell, I contributed my first Blender feature! You can now choose where to stop loops. This lets you select through boundary n-gons, stop at seams, or stop at sharp edges. Will be useful for both retopology and UVs.
