I don’t share these videos or this story often. At 5:45 PM on July 13, 2024 at the Butler Farm Show, my then 10-week pregnant wife and I spoke with President Donald J. Trump . He asked what I was noticing on the trail and about my work. I told him we were going to deliver him back to The White House. He commended me on my speech. My wife asked me if he had actually seen my speech. I told her I wasn’t sure but appreciated his compliments. At 6PM we saw pictures of President Trump on Trump Force One watching us as he flew in. We laughed. My wife teased me for doubting him. At 6:03PM, the President took the stage and stopped in front of us before taking the podium located 20 feet ahead. He turned to me, tilts his head, says “good job” as he points to the podium. My friends and family remind me I doubted the man watched us. At 6:11PM, bullets screamed past. The President went to the ground, facing us. Unarmed, all we could do was find the earth. I laid on my pregnant wife, praying to Christ. The shooter was 350 feet directly to our rear. Corey and his family 20 feet to our rear, James Copenhagen and David Dutch 100 feet ahead. The laughs and joy were stolen from us all. And when I remember how angry I was that such a joyous occasion was turned horrific and the sense of relief I felt as I saw the President rise from the floor, I remember that families exists that have a much different story. Just yesterday, I spoke with David Dutch who explained that a bullet fragment is still pushing its way out of his abdomen. A painful reminder of his near-death experience. And the story that Helen, Allyson, and Kaylee have to tell and remember is a constant hell. Every day is a reminder of the loss of Corey. There was nothing staged about this attack. The death, and pain , and grief of it is still very real. It’s our duty to keep the memory of that day alive. So to all of those who tell us to let it go, to quit talking about it, and who say it was fake, I say: “Never.”

For a 3rd consecutive time, you’ve placed your trust in me and I am eternally grateful. In this victory, we celebrate not just a victory, but a shared commitment to keeping Slippery Rock the strong, vibrant community we’ve buikt togrther over the past 8 years.. First and foremost, I want to thank God for His blessings and protection To my incredible wife and our beautiful daughter: you are my rock, my inspiration, and the reason I fight every day to make this town and this nation better for families like ours. Your strength in enduring the assaults and quiet sacrifices inspires me to strength. To my parents, who instilled in me the values of hard work and service, and to the brave men and women I served with in the United States Marine Corps—your sacrifices remind me that faith, family, and freedom are worth defending. To the volunteers, the door-knockers, the sign-wavers, and everyone who believed in our vision: you made this possible. Your energy and dedication turned passion into action. This victory is truly yours and I’m humbled to be your conduit for it. From the halls of Slippery Rock University, where I earned my degrees and where so many young minds are shaped, to our local businesses, parks, and neighborhoods, we’ve accomplished so much since 2018. We’ve revitalized our downtown, supported our first responders, and fostered unprecedented economic growth while erasing nearly $1,000,000 of debt and never raising your taxes. But we’re Not. Done. Yet. In the coming term, we’ll continue to prioritize safe streets, strong economy, and opportunities for all. We’ll stand firm on the principles upon which our great nation was built while protecting our freedoms, supporting our veterans, and ensuring that Slippery Rock remains a place where hard work pays off and families thrive. We’ll continue to tackle infrastructure challenges, boost tourism around our university and natural beauty, and make sure every voice is heard. To Butler County and beyond: Slippery Rock has and will continue to lead from the front and by example. So here’s to our bright future. Together, we’ll Keep Slippery Rock Great. I am deeply disgusted by the shocking abuse of power exhibited by Harrisville Borough Council and its President, April Anschutz, at their recent public meeting. Ordering the forcible removal of duly elected Councilwoman Mary Ann Hughes, a 65 YEAR OLD WIDOW, business owner, resident, and taxpayer, for attempting to address corruption and harassment by Harrisville’s agents is reprehensible, authoritarian, and contrary to the principles of open and lawful government. Despite her elected post, calm demeanor, and right to speak, Mary Ann was shouted down, intimidated, interrupted, and physically assaulted. I unequivocally demand the immediate and unconditional resignation of Anschutz. Her flagrant overreach and disregard for the rule of law prove she is unfit to hold public office and must step down without delay. Furthermore, the actions of the officer of duty must be reviewed. To the cowardly members of Harrisville Council who stood idly by and allowed for this disgusting abuse to occur without challenge, I urge you to begin removal proceedings for Anschutz should she refuse to resign. And to examine your conscience if you believe its alright to treat an elderly, lifelong, female community servant in this way. I call upon the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to launch a formal ethics investigation into the seemingly concerted efforts by Harrisville Borough agents to install their own agent into Councilwoman Hughes’ duly elected office, along with the apparent conspiracy to sabotage Mary Ann’s First and Fourth Amendment rights. The citizens of Harrisville, and Pennsylvania, deserve accountability and transparent governance, free from such tyrannical tactics.

My prayers go out to those affected and their families. My thoughts are with Minnesotans and all Americans, today. I am outraged that a leftist shot and killed Democrat lawmakers for voting to stop using taxpayer dollars to feed and house illegal immigrants. “No Kings” flyers were found in the gunman’s car according to Minnesota State Patrol This is unacceptable. She looked and sounded entirely scared and distressed after she did the right thing and voted to stop using her constituents’ tax dollars for non-Americans.
