QUICK THOUGHT: I recall one time Odell Beckham Jr. shared a video with me from his private workout in Arizona for NFL teams as he attempted to show he was back a year after tearing his ACL in Super Bowl 56 with the Rams. I looked at the video and I saw he had more confidence, but I also could see his vintage second-level gear was not there, just yet; and I actually told him that. I know what it looks like because I’ve seen it so many times covering him before; plus, Track people have an eye for those things. After that, Odell battled with some injuries, the depth of which he hasn’t fully disclosed publicly, but I’ll say I always knew, before he returned to the Giants today, that his injury setbacks had been a considerable factor before in his previous stops, as was his utilization and some unfulfilled promises….. Fast forward to this year, I attended one #Giants mandatory camp practice back in June to visit the team and to get a feel for where things were at. I didn’t have to be there long to have my eyes confirm what Beckham Jr. already told me several times before. I mentioned a number of times OBJ told me he was getting his legs back. As I mentally comparing the sights before me, to that day of his workout in Arizona, I knew I saw something different in his movement. The movement that comes from better physical and personal alignment; from one’s purpose changing. Quite simply, I saw flashes of his overall bounce again. A lot of that is physical healing. The most defining difference is clearer headspace; the lift you get from internally knowing you’ve weathered the storm. It’s been a long road since his rookie year, but there is nothing like the feeling one gets from persevering from disappointments and just life overall. OBJ returns to New York now as a Super Bowl champion, a father, and in the official Giants uniform once more. Most importantly, I know he’s most glad he’s received the opportunity to show that to his son, whilst seeing how the future unfolds. Always 13 in New York. #Giants.

Brian Daboll is out, but 1 of many issues still remain: In the #Giants game vs the #Bears, almost 5 game mins passed b/w the play QB Jaxson Dart was reportedly concussed on & Dart still re-entering the game again--b4 getting checked. Who’s to blame? Pat Leonard & I chat.

Deshaun Watson postgame on the reception he received in Cleveland today. Reportedly, the crowd was heard booing when Watson was out there. Here's a mashup from Watson's postgame soundbites from NFLN: "...It has nothing to do about the performance. It's still a bit personal than that' so I think that's a it's a disrespectful thing. So yeah, I mean, I'm gonna keep whatever I feel for me and my family internally on how I feel about that. Last time I played on this field, I tore my Achilles, and that same fan base they cheered when I got hurt. So does that...have to do with, what does that have to do with anything about performance, when a person gets hurt, especially for your own city, and they cheer? I don't know. You know, it's a mental battle every day. You know, I feel like...I get more love on road games than I do home games. So, if it is my spot and he does make me the (starter), maybe it's 17 away games then. I don't know. I don't know."

INTERCEPTION PLAY: Here's the interception on Shedeur Sanders 2nd drive. Ball was thrown a tad late and behind Jermaine Terry; not so much that it could not have been caught. Sanders will definitely say this was on him. Sanders was 8/8 before the INT--now 8/9 for 80y 1TD, 1INT.
