Representatives of the Indian diaspora have expressed disappointment over comments by Opposition leaders regarding the Modi Express flight and allegations that the community gathering was a paid event. The organisers of Modi Express claims, neither BJP nor Govt funded but the Indian-Australians, paid & volunteered on their own accord. Diaspora representatives have demanded a public apology.
