During Russia's New Year special on state TV, they openly addressed the West to say, "Like it or not, Russia is enlarging!" The rest of the clip should give you a general idea as to the mood in the studio.

Tucker Carlson, when asked about Alexei Navalny, opposition leaders and journalists in Russia: “Every leader kills people. Some kill more than others. Leadership requires killing people.”

Meanwhile in Russia: this is how the most watched state TV channel in the country welcomed Melania Trump's upcoming return to the White House. Olga Skabeeva is trying not to laugh. This was probably her idea.

While Russia was raining bombs and missiles upon Ukrainian civilians on New Year's eve, here is what was happening on Kremlin-controlled state TV: they spoke of peace, love and mercy, referring to Ukraine as "Russia's southern lands." Watch some of this madness:

This is insane. Trump scoffs at our allies and claims that Putin fought alongside the United States in WWII and lost 51 million men in the process. Putin wasn't even born during WWII and it was the Soviet Union—not Putin's Russia, but 15 republics—that lost millions of lives.

In his comments to the press, Trump reiterates that the US will not be providing any security guarantees to Ukraine, and that he intends to "take back" a lot more than what the US has given in aid to Ukraine. Trump also implicitly gives a green light for China to take Taiwan.

Meanwhile in Russia: Ramzan Kadyrov decided to impress everyone by attempting to do some push-ups.

Russian state TV discussed the best strategies to be used against the U.S., which included their idea for killing scores of Americans. They named only one American they did not want to kill: Tucker Carlson. Watch: More in my latest article (linked below).

Russia rang in the New Year with cringeworthy entertainment and mean-spirited schadenfreude towards Ukrainians and Europeans who are left without food, heating and hot water because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Russian state TV assured the troops: "Death does not exist."

Top Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov and his panelists promote the idea of resuming nuclear testing and conducting preventative nuclear strikes, but one rational military expert spoils the spectacle by unexpectedly unleashing some common sense.

New Year's special on Russian state TV was creepy and surreal. Top pro-Kremlin propagandists were seated alongside military guests, whose presence was sure to remind the audience that at that very moment, Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities and slaughtering civilians next door.

During a New Year's special on Russian state TV, they had the audacity to appropriate a Ukrainian song, "Chervona Ruta." The singer performing it was dressed as some kind of a madam. Backup dancers, unsuccessfully pretending to dance like Ukrainians, were grotesquely ridiculous.

Meanwhile in Russia, where they claim to be at war against the West and our entire decadent culture, here's what they're playing on Russian state TV. Sounds awfully familiar, don't you think?
