I’ve written a lot about Biggie Smalls, Tupac Shakur, Suge Knight and Diddy over the years. Covering the latter’s trial, I decided to take a step back and reflect on the tragedy that happens when death and greed suffocate talent.

This tribute to my grandma legitimately brought me to tears. A trillion thank you’s over to Tony Reali, Aaron Solomon, Joshua Bard and the entire Around the Horn family. To my first best friend, I love you. I miss you. But I thank God I had you for nearly 39 years. Rest well 🙏🏽❤️🥹
