What happened in the State of Tennessee was the largest and swiftest disenfranchisement of Black people that we've seen in at least a century. It's on all of us to organize, mobilize, and participate in bigger numbers than their maps account for.

DEFEND DISTRICT 9 — TAKE ACTION NOW! District 9! Trump just said that he and Bill Lee want to eliminate our representation in Congress. District 9 is the ONLY Democratic and ONLY Black-majority congressional district in Tennessee.

Trump came to Tennessee, called me out by name, and brought my career politician opponent on stage. Brent Taylor won’t debate. He’s running on bringing Trump’s failed agenda to Tennessee. And they are scared. Thread ⬇️

Today, we re-launch our campaign to take on billionaires and the political status quo. Whether you live in the new TN-09, the old TN-09, or anywhere that our systems have failed you, I’m running for Congress for all of US. We are still here. And we’re going to WIN!

NEW AD: Both of Us Stephanie voted for Trump. Will is a combat veteran. They are both supporting my campaign for the U.S. Congress. We don't agree on everything, but we do agree on stopping toxic data centers, lowering costs & ending the illegal war in Iran. [Thread 1/3]

It was recently discovered that The National Guard shot Tyrin Johnson in the back and killed him. Over the last 10 months, four Black men have been killed as a result of the Trump Administration’s decision to unleash the Guard on our communities. This Unsafe Taskforce must go!

We are asking for a 12 month pause on data center construction in Memphis. We need time to develop regulations that protect our communities. I’m running for Congress to take this fight to the federal level. Memphis City Council must act now.

Trump is not welcome to Memphis, Mane! And he can take his unsafe task force with him when he leaves. We want poverty eradication and real investment in Memphis, not military occupation.

Gun injuries are the leading cause of death for children in this country. Think about how devastating that is. Most reasonable firearm owners believe that a permit should be required to own a gun. I'm running for Congress to help make that a reality.

You don’t see toxic data centers near Mar-a-Lago or at Elon Musk’s house. Why? Because they think they are the only class of people that deserve clean land, air, & water. Memphis needs a data center moratorium until proper regulations are passed to protect our communities.

Resurrection is a promised prophecy to a persecuted people! So do not grow weary amidst persecution for speaking out against policy that continues to perpetuate gun violence, or poverty, or environmental injustice. You can be assured that resurrection and restoration is coming!

Today, my Trump-endorsed opponent, Brent Taylor, took the stage at a Trump rally outside of District 9. He spent his time talking about bringing Trump’s agenda to TN! Does he mean high gas prices, unregulated data centers, the unsafe Taskforce, and an illegal war? Thread ⬇️
