Real talk. Shout out to Antony Starr for taking a character like Homelander, and making him not only evil as fuck, but also hilarious as fuck. The show wouldn’t even be half as popular without him in the role. One of the most generational performances in television history.

Legit the show’s funniest scene.

Saved his family, saved Hughie, redeemed himself from S1, EP.1 by essentially killing himself to avoid running into a random woman. And laughed at death right in the face. He didn’t need to do ANY of this, but he did. That’s all the redemption arc he needed.

Homelander’s nervous ass laugh always gets me. He really was like: “Really? Holy shit, they fucking love me.” He’s got these people wrapped around his finger, and here, it shows more than anything.

Words cannot do this scene Justice. It’s miles, MILES, MILESSSS! Better than the comics it’s not even funny. The look at Viltrum in the aftermath of its destruction is so beautiful, I can’t believe I’m saying that but it is. What a scene, gave me nothing but chills.

Still one of my favorite moves Mark has ever done.

"So, what they’re all starving but one of them’s got a fucking cell phone?" I know it’s completely fucked up, but Jesus Christ this line cracks me up every time I see it… 😭😭😭 Antony Starr is beyond incredible as Homelander.

I feel like this scene made Homelander develop some respect for Hughie that he didn’t have for him originally. He looks genuinely impressed with how Hughie isn’t afraid of him and is willing to take him even though he knows he has zero chance of beating him.

The lobby is so damn clean. They absolutely nailed it man.

“You really are… the spittin' of Lenny.” The idea of Butcher getting a happy ending and riding off into the sunset didn’t ever sit right. That’s why it’s so nice to see that the series saves one last curveball for the very end. I cried. Incredible scene. They nailed it.

She’s so fucked up… oh my God man. The way Stormfront is introduced is so lowkey, we don’t find out until EP.3 that she’s one of the most evil person in this whole show. I never really gave that aspect praise, but it’s so great. Such a jaw dropping visual. Absolutely insane.

“No God. The only man in the sky is me.” Antony Starr as Homelander is easily one of the greatest villains we’ve ever seen in live action. This is basically a parody of that ‘All Star Superman’ panel, but completely fucked. Jesus Christ man, what a performance.

It feel obligated to post this scene of Butcher and Homelander. Seeing these two interact in the very first episode of S3 is wild. And then eventually them actually fighting later on in the season… It’s nothing short of incredible. But man, I need for them to BRAWL in S5.

“Girls do get it done.” This moment in S2 always brings me joy. I just love seeing Stormfront getting her ass beat. It’s hilarious how she retreats as well.

“Oi, Stevie fucking Wonder! Will you knock it off? You’re doing my fucking head in!” Butcher crashing out over Kimiko playing a toy piano is funny as fuck man… 😭😭😭

This scene always gets me. Goddamn, I’m so not ready for what S5 is going to do to them. I don’t know if this episode title is completely true, but ‘The Frenchman, The Female and the Man Called Mother's Milk’ aka ‘The Boys’ S5, EP.7 might ruin me. I’m so not ready man… 🫩
