Moore’s Law Is Dead did NOT hold back, and I think a lot of what he said needed to be said. “Playstation has systematically killed many of the things that would have made you a fan before.” “The people left defending Playstation right now were never fans of Playstation.” “People who root for a brand… you’re just a fanboy, a Sony pony.” And this might be the hardest line: “An authentic fan [is a fan] because you like the things they do. They’re not doing those things anymore.” That’s the point. Being a Playstation fan shouldn’t mean blindly defending every decision Sony makes. If the people who supposedly love this brand keep rewarding Sony while the things that made Playstation special disappear, that “loyalty” could help diminish Playstation forever. The moment Hideo Kojima shocked everyone by stepping onto the XBOX stage in 2009 Seeing Kojima this close with Xbox again in 2026 is giving me the SAME feeling I had watching E3 that day💚 I watched this moment LIVE and it still hits. 🟢 When Kojima walked onto the Xbox 360 stage, a lot of us thought the impossible was happening: MGS4 was finally coming to Xbox. Instead, Kojima revealed an entirely NEW game: METAL GEAR SOLID: RISING And hearing Kojima speak in English for that long on stage made the moment feel even more special. He didn’t just send a trailer. HE showed up for Xbox. 🟢 This was Xbox 360 at the top of its game. Huge E3 moments. Massive surprises. Xbox Live booming. Microsoft chasing Japanese creators and franchises people never expected to see on Xbox. Then the story got even crazier! The original Rising struggled in development and was eventually cancelled. PlatinumGames stepped in, rebuilt the concept and turned it into: METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE. It became a success, developed a huge cult following, and somehow we STILL never got a sequel. 😭 🟢 Now look at 2026. Kojima and Xbox are close again with OD, and now PHYSINT is part of that relationship too. That’s why this feels so full circle to me. 2009: Kojima walks onto the Xbox stage and shocks gaming. 2026: Kojima is back alongside Xbox leadership with major projects ahead. I’m starting to get that old Xbox 360 feeling again. Big swings. Big creators. Unpredictable announcements. Are Kojima and Xbox bringing some of that PEAK magic back? 💚🎮
