[Covid created the biggest wealth transfer of our lifetime] “The Fed took rates to zero.” “Money printing disproportionately rewarded asset owners.” “The average person still pays the price through inflation.” Ansem 🐂🀄️ argues that Covid era policies reshaped financial outcomes. Zero rates and aggressive money printing pushed stocks, crypto, real estate, and other assets sharply higher. People who already owned assets watched their wealth compound, while millions lost jobs, stayed on the sidelines, or simply had no capital to invest. Years later, the effects remain: a wider wealth gap and persistent inflation hitting everyday consumers the hardest.

[The next retail mania won’t be forex, it’ll be crypto social trading] “Social trading is gonna get a lot more popular.” “You can hit 100x’s and 1000x’s in crypto. You cannot do that in forex.” “The real money comes from being early.” Ansem 🐂🀄️ compared today’s crypto market to the forex boom during COVID. Back then, people paid for trading groups hoping to find alpha. Forex never offered the kind of upside they were chasing. Crypto is different. The biggest winners catch new narratives before everyone else. That’s why he sees social trading becoming a core part of the next cycle, where finding the right people matters as much as finding the right trade.

[Market Bubble Ep.13 RECAP] huge shoutout to Ansem 🐂🀄️ and Banks for another great episode. this week's conversation went far beyond charts and price action. the biggest theme was how content, trading and distribution are starting to merge into the same business. here are my biggest takeaways (my pov): 1) trading is becoming a creator business > the best traders are becoming creators > people follow personalities as much as they follow PnL > trading in public builds trust faster than polished educational content > the next generation of finance creators will grow by sharing the process, not just the results 2) social trading feels inevitable the workflow is changing. people want one place where they can: > discover high signal traders > understand their thesis > follow positions > learn while participating it's becoming much more than charts and execution. 3) trading already has everything that makes games addictive > progression > competition > leaderboards > rewards > skill expression Robinhood proved that better UX brings in millions of new users. crypto has an opportunity to push that idea even further. 4) crypto doesn't need better products it needs better storytellers. great infrastructure already exists. the bottleneck is helping people understand it through creators, clips and communities. distribution is becoming one of the most valuable assets in the industry. 5) traders are becoming entertainers watching someone make high conviction decisions in real time creates a completely different experience. that's why names like Thread Guy and Kimchi are growing so quickly. people aren't only following the trade. they're following the person behind it. 6) trust compounds faster than capital Trader Mayne wasn't used as an example because of his returns. he built credibility first. that credibility became a business. the business created equity. it's a playbook more crypto creators are likely to follow over the next few years. 7) creator brands may become billion dollar businesses MrBeast is proof that attention can evolve into real enterprise value. crypto gives creators something new. a public asset that communities can participate in alongside them. that's what makes creator ecosystems interesting to watch. 8) leverage doesn't forgive good ideas Leopold identified the AI trade earlier than almost everyone. the thesis wasn't the problem. risk management was. one mistake on leverage can erase years of great decisions. 9) volatility is becoming universal AI stocks are moving with the speed and volatility people normally associate with crypto. higher participation, leverage and faster information flow are changing every market. the line between traditional finance and crypto keeps getting thinner. 10) content may become crypto's strongest growth engine Market Bubble isn't only building a podcast. it's building an ecosystem where: > creators earn > clippers earn > traders build audiences > brands fund distribution everyone benefits as the network grows. 11) the next cycle rewards people who do more than trade builders, creators, educators, designers, traders. the biggest opportunities sit where those skill sets overlap. (LOOKING BACK) the biggest opportunity may not be trading itself. it may be building businesses around trading. the people creating content, earning trust and building communities today could end up owning the most valuable assets of the next cycle.

[Buying crypto still breaks at the most basic step: Paying] “Some banks will just decline the transaction outright.” “This is supposed to be your money.” “You complete KYC, hit buy… then your bank blocks the payment.” Ivan Soto-Wright points to a problem few people talk about. Many banks still block crypto purchases, even after users pass KYC and have funds ready. The failure happens outside the crypto app, creating a frustrating experience for both users and platforms. That friction has real consequences. Every declined payment means lower conversion, fewer new users, and slower adoption. MoonPay 🟣 long term opportunity extends beyond better onramps. Solving banking friction removes one of the biggest barriers between traditional finance and crypto. The team believes onboarding should feel as seamless as any online payment, with no unexpected roadblocks.

[Ignore the noise, build with conviction] “Crypto is one of the most emotionally driven markets.” “The pendulum swings from ‘crypto is dead’ to ‘this is the greatest thing ever.’” “Stay off CT as much as possible if you have conviction in what you’re building.” Every cycle looks the same. When prices dump, CT is filled with “crypto is dead”, “it’s all a Ponzi”, “this chain is finished”. A few months later, the exact same timelines call everything revolutionary. That’s why Ansem 🐂🀄️ believes builders shouldn’t let market sentiment dictate their work. If you have conviction, spend less time refreshing CT and more time shipping. Traders mostly react to price, builders create the products that eventually give price a reason to move. The market is emotional. Execution isn’t.

[Ansem’s whole edge is front running where liquidity goes next] “Doge is one of the best indicators… every single cycle for where retail is back.” “One of my better trades was BONK in the early days… I bought SOL first, then asked what else I should buy on chain.” “A lot of my trades are just seeing what the market did in the past, then trying to predict what’s gonna do in the future.” This is how Ansem has traded since 2017. He doesn’t overcomplicate it. When a new ecosystem starts catching bids, he looks for the highest beta instead of stopping at the L1. That’s how he landed on BONK after buying SOL. Fast forward to today, and he’s pushing the same thesis with $ANSEM. The bet isn’t only on a token. It’s on bringing more ppl onchain, pulling attention into Solana, and building a community that grows alongside the ecosystem. Crypto changes fast, liquidity doesn’t. It keeps following attention, narratives, and whatever worked last cycle. Ansem 🐂🀄️ just trying to get there before everyone else.

[SOL rn reminds Ansem of 2023] After FTX, Solana chopped in a range for almost 10 months. CT hated it. “Everybody was saying it’s never gonna come back.” The chain kept shipping. Google Cloud. Network upgrades. Spam fixes. Price? Didn’t care. “You don’t know if it’s accumulation or distribution until price breaks.” Most saw a breakdown, Ansem 🐂🀄️ saw a deviation. “It looked like it was going back to $8.” Instead, SOL reclaimed the range and never looked back. The best entries usually look dead before they look obvious.

[Ansem 🐂🀄️ framework is simple] “70% of your portfolio should be in assets you’re confident will outperform over the long term.” “The other 30% is your degen portfolio.” “When one of those big trades hits, roll the profits back into your core positions.” “You need high timeframe indicators for when to get in and when to get out.” Keep ~70% in high conviction assets like SOL, BTC, COIN, or other long term bets you’ve accumulated through the bear market. Use the remaining ~30% for higher risk plays like memes, microcaps, and onchain opportunities. Rotate profits from winners back into your core portfolio instead of increasing risk after every win. Rely on higher timeframe signals, moving averages, and broader market structure to avoid buying euphoria or selling panic. Long term conviction builds wealth. The degen port is there to accelerate it, not replace it.

[You're gonna have to lose money first before you get good at being a trader] "Crypto is one of the few industries where you don't need credentials." "If you prove yourself in public and do the right things, ppl will recognize it... regardless of where you came from." "Study past cycles. Talk to ppl who've been around. Practice a ton." This is probably one of Ansem 🐂🀄️'s best pieces of advice. Crypto is one of the few industries where your background matters less than your proof of work. No degree, no resume, no permission. Your ideas, your trades, your content, your products... everything is public. Over time, the market figures out who's actually adding value. Most ppl want the profits without paying the tuition. But every great trader has gone through the same process: lose, adapt, improve, repeat. There's no shortcut. Your biggest edge isn't avoiding mistakes, it's surviving long enough to learn from them.

[Pump.fun is down 86% and Ansem still thinks it’s one of the most interesting bets on Solana] Most people see an 86% drawdown and assume it’s over. Ansem sees something different. “I’m not long PUMP… but I do think PUMP is gonna be one of the most interesting things to watch over the next few months.” His thesis isn’t about the chart. It’s about the business. “Pumpfun is still one of the most talked about apps on Solana… they still have users, they’re still making money.” Despite the token getting crushed, the platform has reportedly generated ~$1B in revenue while trading around ~$1.1B FDV. That doesn’t mean it’s an immediate buy. “I wouldn’t try to knife catch this… you wanna wait for strength.” What changes the story? Ansem 🐂🀄️ points to a few catalysts: - Revenue growth starts accelerating again. - Product improvements restore user sentiment. - A well executed airdrop reignites attention. “If they do all these things at the same time… I think it’d be really easy for this to rip.” The takeaway: Price can stay weak while fundamentals evolve underneath. The setup isn’t “buy because it’s down 86%.” It’s wait until the business improves, then let the chart confirm it.

[most people don’t lose money because they picked the wrong coin, they lose money because they treat every dollar the same] one of the better investing takes I’ve heard from Ansem lately. he breaks it into 3 buckets: - cash for emergencies - long-term investments that compound - active trades where you take your shots the mistake? most people put 100% into bucket #3 and call it investing. his point wasn’t to avoid risk. “you don’t wanna be all in something like that” because if one trade blows up, your entire portfolio goes with it. everyone wants the 10x. very few people respect the power of compounding 10% a year for a decade. take the moonshots. just don’t gamble the part of your portfolio that’s supposed to survive long enough to catch them.
