Day of Belarusian Military Glory Today, in honor of the historic victory in the Battle of Orsha of 1514, we held a celebration in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. On March 25, 2022, symbolically on Freedom Day, Belarusian volunteers of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment took their solemn oath for the first time in Kyiv. Later, hundreds more Regiment recruits took this oath. Reading it, they also said goodbye to the fallen warriors. March became a black month for Belarusian volunteers: at the beginning of this month, a warrior of the Kalinouski Regiment with the call sign "Lych" died, on March 3, 2022, Ilya "Litvin" Khrenov died in the battle for Bucha, on March 12, 2024, 2 infantrymen of the Volat battalion died in eastern Ukraine, on March 13, 2022, a Belarusian, sergeant of the Special Operations Forces Alexei "Tur" Skoblya died near Kyiv, on March 25, 2022, Zmitser "Terror" Apanasovich died in the battles for Irpin."
