According to President Museveni Kahinda Otafiire recruited Gen. Fred Rwigyema into the NRA in 1970s while the latter was in his S2 at Mbarara High School at the time. Gen. MK is fond of Fred Rwigyema, so much so that a month does not go by without him posting his praise of him. On 20th July, 2025 Gen Muhoozi posted, "Afande Rwigyema and Afande Kagame those are angels. They have always treated me like their son. I have nothing but love for them." On 25th July, 2025 Gen. MK posted: "As promised I will build a statue to my beloved uncle Afande Fred Rwigyema..."

So, the new Queen of Tooro, Rebecca Amoding Rukidi, shocked people when she delivered a speech in flawless Rutooro. Amoding was the guest of honour at the Tooro Ladies Open 2026. Many were shocked because they didnt think an Itesot would speak perfect Rutooro. King of Tooro Edward Kijjanagoma Nyabongo I must be proud of her.

Football feels scripted. Myles Lewis-Skelly made his Arsenal debut against Manchester City on 22 September 2024. Haaland asked him: “Who the F* are you?”** Just 4 months later, on 2 February 2025, Skelly scored his first Arsenal goal, against Manchester City. And that’s only part of Myles’ story. This documentary reveals things you probably didn’t know about him. And now, Arteta’s Arsenal face Maresca’s Manchester City in the Community Shield. I reckon Myles is about to do wonders.

Gashumba should be nice to Ugandan pastors. Some have the ability to talk to Jesus and chill with him. Prophet Elvis Mbonye in NBS TV “People and Power” once said: "I have seen Jesus and walked to Heaven; what most people don’t realize is, they too can. I saw every feature on him and he came smiling at me. Jesus is the most perfect person in human form... When Jesus came to me I was in my room. He appeared so young and Jewish that you can't call him handsome or beautiful because he's both"

Elizabeth Bagaya is a big person. Here in 1987, in the Oval Office she was casually chatting with President Reagan. During the conversation, the US president tells Bagaya that he read her book. President Museveni looks on at first before he creates his own train of conversation.

An interesting story by Karugire, Natasha Museveni's husband on his first encounter with Pr. Museveni as his in-law was quite intense. I wonder if Karugire also made the son of Lt. Gen. Sam Kavuma go through the same situation before letting him take his daughter, Kaine Sasii

Many Ugandans don't know that Pope Paul VI, who visited Uganda on July 31, 1969, was the first Pope in History to visit Africa. The Pope consecrated the altar at Namugongo and the kissed ground where Ugandan martyrs were executed. Forgot to mention earlier that Ugandan President Milton Obote and First Lady Miria Obote, Julius Nyerere of Tanzania and Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia welcomed the Pope at 3pm. To commemorate the visit, President Milton Obote named the new road from Namugongo to Kira Road junction Pope Paul VI Road. Noticed that the Pope arrived in an East Africa Airways Chartered Plane. The airline was jointly run by Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and collapsed in 1977.

In 2007, a song, "Niwe Magara Gangye" united Uganda. It was sang in Luganda, Acholi, Ateso, and English. This song is perhaps one of the best Ugandan songs ever produced but many don't know the artiste. Well his name is Fellipe Emuli, I have done a lyrics video of his awesome song. He is a genius. Can't Lobst4r touch him the way he did Joshua Baraka? He is still young and has untapped potential.
