I agree with both points especially since the creators themselves said they didn’t originally plan for a sequel. That said, I’d argue Korra’s Avatar State vs. Zaheer comes pretty close. The feats she was pulling off while poisoned and fighting for her life were absolutely insane

One day, we’re gonna have a serious conversation about how we were gaslit into thinking this show was bad

The Mangaka would be getting death threats for pulling something like this in 2026

This whole episode was just rage bait cause wtf did I just watch. So when KC kisses someone or explores, he’s a “loser” and a “coward,” but when Aniya does it, suddenly it’s rom-com? The double standard is insane. And the fact they were literally Awwing in that moment just shows you how they think. What makes it even worse is the way the show keeps giving her these Cinderella edits, like her and her group didn’t have mean things to say about KC too. The favoritism is so obvious it’s ridiculous. #loveislandusa

Idc what anyone says, this movie was beautiful and did exactly what it set out to do…tell Aang’s story. It captured the immense weight of the guilt he carried as the last surviving Air Nomad and showed just how deeply the genocide haunted him despite his accomplishments. It was a story about grief, loss, survivor’s guilt, and learning to move forward without forgetting where you came from. For me, this movie added even more depth to a character that was already one of the greatest protagonists in animation.🐐
