Part two of my Dallas airport “chapel experience” - the “chapels” have a compass on the ceiling so you know how to get to Mecca. No Christian symbols whatsoever. Not even a bible laid out. They had them but they were in cabinets. I sat there for almost 2 hours bc I refused to leave while the Muslim men kept coming in to pray. They were all hostile accept one. It was actually a very frightening experience. I was alone and the chapel is tucked away in an obscure hallway. This video continues to pick up comments and concerns over on IG months later. This is an alarm bell. Is anyone listening??

I have a habit of stopping by airport chapels when I have the time. Most of them have closed down in the US in major airports, but DFW reopened theirs and they’re basically mosques. I had a very uncomfortable experience praying in the chapel on Palm Sunday, but I refused to leave while the Muslims were being so nasty. I refused to leave what is meant to be a temple of the Lord, especially on Palm Sunday. I had a long layover so I waited them out. One man grew frustrated after about 30 minutes and left, but not before others came in. They were clearly having conversations about me in Arabic. They weren’t being shy about letting me know they were talking about me. But I sat and prayed and read the Bible and I did not leave until the last Muslim had cleared out. It was actually a very scary experience given how isolated the chapel was, but I think we need to start staking ground.

Today my Canadian mother sent a message via social media saying she cannot celebrate the graduation of our two children this June bc of Trump. I never thought I would be this person but here we are - my mother has said she can’t be a part of our family bc we’re Trump voters.

I was shocked to hear Steve Hilton share his story of his family's connection to famed economist FA Hayek and some pretty big liberty orgs in this nation. Sir Anthony Fisher was a WWII pilot who was disillusioned by Britain's turn to socialism after he fought for freedom. When he returned home, he contacted FA Hayek to ask about fighting socialism. Hayek encouraged him to start battling in the arena of ideas. Fisher moved to America and founded The Manhattan Institute and Pacific Research Institute Institute. That man was Hilton's grandfather-in-law. Hilton's family has been on the forefront of liberty thought since the '50s. "Before you can change the politics, you have to change the ideas."

The SPLC thing is so much worse than corruption. Charlottesville is a lie that tore this entire country asunder. In the face of loneliness epidemic post-COVID, some of the most important relationships in American society were severed for this lie - parents and children, brothers and sisters, neighbors and friends. And a country divided against itself cannot stand. That is civil war. You're not angry enough.

My husband wanted to get to know his dad better so he started his own project. They zoom a couple times a month and he asks his dad about a different part of this life growing up. This summer, my husband’s mother passed - 65 years married to his father. It was an incalculable loss and just after we laid her to rest my husband said he was thinking about canceling the next interview. He worried that it might be too difficult for his dad to talk about all of these years with his beloved bride. He worried it might be too soon. He did not want to burden his dad with more grief. But I assured him the only thing that could possibly even make a dent in that type of grief would be to share a little time with his son. He worried it might be too sad, but even though everyone is still grieving they decided to go ahead and do it anyway. As I watched him talk with his father, and I heard the laughter and the joy I couldn’t help but think of Mom and the legacy of Love she left between these two men, father and son, peers and brothers in Christ. I watched grief collapse under the weight of their joy just to be sharing something together. May we all be so blessed with fathers who see us as their antidotes to pain, and sons who want to be with us.

My daughter made this in kindergarten one Christmas . It was terrifying but I had to pretend it was so adorable. Now VooDoo Gingerbread Man comes out every year to collect his offerings and accept his acknowledgments and if he is properly satiated we get another year of Xmas 😂

Swalwell is tanking. The Dem field is paring down and unifying. 2 republicans winning the primaries was hopium. We have to unite around the logical choice. Steve Hilton is leading in all the polls, has massive name recognition and is endorsed by Trump and Charlie Kirk. Logic
