Deeply saddened by the loss of lives & the devastation caused by the floods & landslides in Keyi Panyor District in Arunachal Pradesh. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families & prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured. The safety & well-being of our people remain our highest priority. Rescue, relief & restoration efforts are underway & every possible assistance is being extended to those affected. We stand firmly with every affected family in this difficult hour.

The unprecedented rains in North East especially in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam has caused huge flash floods & massive damages in entire region. Full efforts are being put by the State & Union Govt to provide basic commodities and establish communication lines. I appeal the community people to remain alert, avoid risks during this harsh monsoon period and avoid unnecessary traveling.
