This is rapid charging, Japan style. 😎 Believe it or not, 400 kW chademo charging is coming here but... is it really needed? I mean, New Zealand already has 400 kW rapid charging charging using CCS with ChargeNet. Can Chademo catch up? More importantly, will the Leaf video be Gig?

I honestly expected the Tesla Model Y L to be a little bit slapdash because it's basically just a stretched Model Y with an extra added row of seats chucked in but there's a lot of attention to detail when you look closely. It's a testament to the designers and engineers.

Petrol and diesel cars fought for their lives in Norway but, as you can see, that old technology has now lost the battle to EVs forever and I love that's happening here too. Being able to witness the end of an automotive era and the start of a new one in real time is honestly pretty cool and it's a privilege to have a front row seat.
