It also matters because he’s spent the last decade evangelizing about the importance of a carbon price for the world. He’s never said it’s bad public policy. He’s said it’s bad politics right now. He hasn’t said he will repeal the legislation should he win. He hasn’t even said he won’t raise the rates. Read his book. He’s told us what his plans are. I can’t believe how few people are holding him to account for this.
