Is the EU coming for €10T in private savings accounts? When politicians start calling your hard-earned bank deposits "lazy savings," your spider-sense should be tingling. To be totally fair: Ursula von der Leyen didn't say the EU is seizing your checking account tomorrow. The official pitch is just a "Savings and Investments Union" to channel private cash into EU industry. However, things can change. Do you remember the US gold confiscation in 1933 under Executive Order 6102? Or when Cyprus took a haircut straight out of bank deposits in 2013? Governments seize wealth whenever they get desperate enough. When they do it fast, it is outright confiscation. When they do it slow, it is financial repression: keeping deposit yields below real inflation, steering pension funds into state debt, and locking in bail-in rules. Whether it is an overnight seizure or a ten-year slow bleed, the outcome is the same. Whatever you want to do with your money is your own damn business. Got Bitcoin?

Trump just name-dropped Hyperliquid at the White House. "America remains the undisputed leader in Bitcoin, crypto, prediction markets, AI", then straight up says Mike Selig is working to bring Hyperliquid into the US, fully compliant and legal. Can we start the bull run now?

Fundstrat's Tom Lee said in a CNBC interview that the AI selloff is just the market catching its breath after a parabolic month. The bigger culprit is SpaceX needing to suck $75 billion out of the market, forcing investors to trim their winners to free up cash. He believes this is not part of a broader correction, but he predicts that later in the year we'll see what feels like a bear market.

Must-watch: Jeremy Grantham, the man who called the 2000 AND 2008 bubbles, just called Bitcoin "proof of unnecessary work, not worth a bucket of warm spit." You've heard pet rock. You've heard Ponzi. Bucket of warm spit is a new one. Every currency in history has been controlled by someone. Bitcoin is the first one that isn't. Fixed supply, no central bank, no printing press, no permission needed. That's not speculation. That's the point.

The government's stupidity is why Bitcoin will continue to go up. That's basically what Pomp just said, live on Fox Business. The host pushed him: what could possibly make Bitcoin go up 30% a year for 20 years? Pomp didn't dodge it. Washington will not stop printing money. And as long as they don't, Bitcoin goes up. He is not wrong.

We haven't even started. JPMorgan Wealth Management's chief investment strategist just said on Fox Business that the AI boom is the third industrial revolution, and we're only in year one of a 10-15 year cycle. Companies are spending big. Adoption hasn't even caught up yet. And here we are... waiting for it to pop.

What has changed this time? This is a question asked by a reporter to President Trump, pointing out that this is at least the 5th time airstrikes were stopped in Iran. TL;DR: Nobody knows. He is giving them every last chance before decapitation, and those previous attacks: they were "normal" large.

"THE TARIFFS HAVE MADE OUR COUNTRY RICH." That's what Trump said today at the Cabinet meeting. He pointed to car plants from Germany, Japan, Korea, Canada, and Mexico going up on American soil, and foreign investment he claims is now 5 to 6 times higher than any other country has ever seen. Big claim. Do you think he's right?
