Today I read about a mother in Indian Rocks Beach with three young children who no longer qualifies for SNAP benefits because of legislation Anna Paulina Luna proudly supported. This is personal for me. Growing up, both of my parents worked hard. But there were tough times, and we relied on food stamps to get through them. That safety net made a difference for my family. Anna Paulina Luna just ripped it away from thousands of families across Pinellas County who need it just as much as we did.
