Bitter tears and painful cries are the natural traits of Egbere ('Bush Baby') - So shall it be for all those who have consecrated their waking hours to your ruin. May all who have taken your downfall as their duty witness agonizing tears and devastating cries as their natural inheritance. The vulture that circles a man not destined to fall only exhausts itself. Good Morning Severally...

PETER - PROOF GOD IS AN HILARIOUS SOVEREIGN "What will you do differently? Peter: "I will not tell you." Shall I Begin? God is an hilarious Sovereign, a master of divine irony. He created the Sloth who cannot run to save his own life yet branded it a 'Wild' animal along with majestic sprinting beasts like the Lion... And that precisely explains why Peter is even tolerated in the Presidential conversation even though he cannot string enough coherent words together to pass a primary school debate. He is unable to list notable achievements as Governor even if it guarantees him victory at the polls. And lacks every single fiber of intelligence, wit, and brilliance required to offer actual blueprints for the very challenges he claims he wants to confront. Yet we are forced to involve the mediocre Peter in political conversations along with much more intelligent candidates like Adewole Adebayo; More sophisticated Figures like Donald Duke; and incomparably greater Achievers like the Jagaban... With his last outing, I am certain his true supporters - those who genuinely have his interest at heart, rather than those using him as a political ladder - will now restrain him from granting further interviews. For even by his own usually low standards, the Rufai outing was a spectacular dive into an abyss, an embarrassingly deep hole of his own digging. At this rate, the Goverment and its supporters should no longer exhaust energy attempting to prove to innocent Nigerians that Peter is inept - Peter himself does a far better job of stripping his own image naked, exposing his competence - the lack thereof ofcos - one painful interview at a time. Good Morning Severally...

I have a different observation. The actor who played Justice Nelson arrested my attention completely. His diction was flawless - the articulate command of tenses, the impeccable pronunciation, that fascinating, deliberate emphasis on consonants. Among actors across borders, only Morgan Freeman - that American custodian of the English tongue - wields the language with comparable finesse. What equally surprised me was discovering a veteran I had never encountered - Yoruba practitioners especially. And this is me we are talking about o. That can conveniently place Pa Hubert Ogunde, Duro Ladipo, Akin Ogungbe, Oyin Adejobi, Baba Ajimajasan, Baba Sala, even Jacob of the Papalolo jester group who left us too early - Lukuluku without his makeup, Baba Dento and the rest. I know these faces even on B&W TV. So who was this eloquent thespian with the mesmerizing command of English? Curiosity would not let me rest. I searched. What I found shook me further. The man was not merely a veteran - he fathered generations. At least three of his sons are active actors. Names we all grew up loving, whose talents lit up our screens. Through them, their father's name became legend to young fans like myself - but never his face. RAY EYIWUNMI - Father to Murphy, Lasun, Muka, and others. It was at that point fascination gave way to concern... My curiosity evolved into worry and my revelation of the man's raised more questions than answers, particularly knowing his children in the industry. What do you think troubles me? Shall I Begin? Good Morning Severally...

TINUBU WAS VOTED IN BY LESS THAN 35% CITIZENS – RUFAI OSENI AN UNPLEASANT DIET First, let me confess: I try as much as humanly possible not to poison my appetite with toxic content. That is why I rarely sit at the table where the Arise Morning Show serves its cuisine. But truth be told, what they dish out there is not a single plate - it is a full buffet. One can dodge the rotten meat, skip the burnt soup, and still find a few nutritious morsels worth chewing. Dr. Abati, for instance, is often one of those nourishing dishes. Sadly, even the most discerning diner may sometimes grind teeth upon stones in their beans. Such was my bitter harvest this morning when I forgot to skip Oseni's segment like I always do, and I witnessed Rufai bellowing from his mountaintop: “LESS THAN 35% VOTED OUR PRESIDENT!” “THE CITIZENS HAVE CHECKED OUT!” “THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER INTERESTED IN DEMOCRACY!” I nearly choked. A CALL TO REASON First of all, for a man who consistent brags about "empirical" accuracy and precision like Adam Smith. Asiwaju did not get less than 35% of the votes in the 2023 election Sir. He got 36.61% - a fact Rufai, misstated, repeated and sustained more than thrice in the same breath, like a broken record playing the wrong tune. The margin of error here is at least 1.61%, and could be far worse, because “less than 35%” could mean 34… or 20… or even 6%. In economics or in finance, this is an unforgivable blunder, especially for one who carries himself as though he is omniscient. But that, my friends, is not even the kernel of the matter. Rufai's ignorance transcends numbers and percentages; it is a deficiency deeply rooted in historical illiteracy and an insatiable appetite for inflated lies. He who doesn't know where the rain started beating him will say it was that very day it rained heaviest. NOW TO THE FACTS Let us be clear: any election involving 3 major gladiators - whether in Nigeria, France, America, or even Heaven itself - the possibility of any candidate soaring above the 50% threshold is as rare as hen's teeth. History overflows with testimonies: NIGERIA – 1979 Shagari: 33.76% Awolowo: 29.19% Azikiwe: 16.75% By Rufai’s logic, Nigerians must have “checked out” in 1979 - ironically our first democratic election after 13 long years of military darkness. Yet Asiwaju, in 2023, secured more votes proportionally than Shagari did in 1979. If Asiwaju lacks sufficient legitimacy with 36.6%, then I shudder to imagine where Shagari should stand in this hall of judgment. AND THIS IS NOT A NIGERIAN CURSE USA – 1992 Bill Clinton: 43% George H. W. Bush: 37.5% Ross Perot: 18.9% Did Americans check out of their storied democracy? FRANCE – 2017 Macron: 24% Marine Le Pen: 21.3% François Fillon: 20% I suppose the French abandoned their republic at the 1st ballot. BRAZIL – 1989 Fernando Collor: 30.5% Lula da Silva: 17.2% Leonel Brizola: 16.5% Brazilians must have turned their backs on their nation by Rufai's curious mathematics. WHAT IS MY POINT? Since 2023, this malnourished and jaundiced analogy has persisted like a stubborn cough: “Only 36.61% of Nigerians voted Tinubu,” meant to suggest three things: 1. The government lacks legitimacy because he was elected by a minority. 2. That Asiwaju is uniquely unpopular for not crossing 50%. 3. That the figures prove unprecedented apathy and rejection. Those emaciated and sickly premises die today and shall proceed to receive befitting burial. In a contest among three formidable candidates (with a mini-fourth force lurking in the shadows), the results will always mirror this pattern, whether the battleground is Nigeria or Mercury. Democracy is not necessarily about who captures more than half the people, NO! It is about who gathers more people on the appointed day, and the margin of victory matters not. The cock that crows first at dawn does not ask how many slept through the night. Good Evening Severally

ANOTHER MURDEROUS TALE??? "Diya, this is my last visit to you... if you are not in this government to actualize June 12, you have betrayed us, you have betrayed the masses of Nigeria and you will not come back the same." - Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, April 1994. The tree that survived the axe does not tremble at the sound of a woodpecker. The man who stared down the barrel of military arsenal - who walked into the lion's den and roared back - is certainly not one to lose sleep over the midnight plottings of frustrated politicians whose ambitions have curdled into fruitless schemes. Nor shall he fidget at the machinations of disgruntled elements within the system, rattling their rusty sabres and whispering coups into hollow ears; Nor the conspiracy of domestic aides submitting themselves as accessories to murderous orchestrations. The best time to fell a mighty iroko was before it took root. That season was 2022. You should have stopped him from winning the APC ticket - that was your one river to cross. But you either slept through your finest hour, or the master strategist had already moved ten steps beyond your leprous grip before your eyes could focus. And now, you cannot do to him as President what you could not accomplish against him as an ordinary citizen. Today is yet another evening to confirm what we all always knew - that Winners are Made, Victors are designed, Conquerors are destined... not manufactured by rants, not conjured by malice, not forced by the trembling hands of envy. Good Evening Severally...

THE ABEOKUTA DECLARATION The Greatest Public Speech Ever Delivered in the Nigerian Political Space It was the 2nd day of June, in the year 2022, that historic day when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu stormed the ancient city of Abeokuta. Abeokuta - the city rich in history where memory is carved in stone. Abeokuta - A city that did not beg its enemies for mercy, did not negotiate with terror, but looked to the Ancestors and found shelter in granite. The Olumo Rock - that ancient, immovable colossus - did not merely shelter the Egba people from the fury of their adversaries. It became the people. It became their testimony. And on that June morning, Tinubu walked into its shadow and borrowed from its spirit. When Asiwaju stood before the National Delegates of the All Progressives Congress to seek their endorsement at the party's convention; He was not making a speech - He was performing a covenant. He was not merely addressing delegates - he was speaking into the earth itself and demanding it bear him witness. He was not canvassing votes - he was writing in permanent ink upon the scroll of history, in a city whose memory is as enduring as the rock. On that day, in that declaration, Asiwaju Tinubu established no fewer than FIVE DISTINCT QUALITIES that set him apart - irreversibly and irrecoverably - from every man who now suffers the cold frustration of playing against him on the field of progressive politics and visionary leadership. THE FIRST QUALITY: The Preference for Priorities At the height of PMB's frustrations with consecutive defeats at the Presidential polls, he approached Asiwaju and sought to rely on the Jagaban's impeccable electoral winning streak, his formidable structural machinery, his unrivaled capacity to deliver. PMB demanded a joint ticket with Asiwaju, one he was certain would shatter the wall that had kept him from Aso Rock. What was Tinubu's answer? You wanna hear? "General, priorities matters. Institutional fortitude must precede personal ambition. We are not yet at that stage. Let us first build this party." Meditate on that response. A lesser man - a man of hunger rather than visions - would have seized that moment. Would have calculated his personal leverage and extracted the maximum advantage. Dude would have said: yes, let us ride together and efritin. But Asiwaju did not. Because the Jagaban has never been a man who mistakes the battle for the war. Haraka haraka haina baraka - haste, haste carries no blessing. He understood that a party built on solid foundations outlasts any individual who rides it to victory. He understood that the structure must precede the occupant. You do not move furniture into a house that has no roof. And this is precisely the quality that confounds his opponents to this day. They jockey. They scheme. They announce presidential ambitions before they have organised a single ward. They seek the crown before they have forged the kingdom. They want harvest before planting season has even been announced. And then they wonder - why does this man always seem to be three moves ahead? Should those who now gather themselves as opposition possess even a fraction of his foresight - even a single digit percentage of his strategic patience - they would not be scrambling individually for races they cannot win before first building the collective system capable of accommodating their ambitions. But they do not. And that is why they lose and then turn around to accuse the superior mind of dictatorship. Guess my second point! SHALL I BEGIN? Good Evening Severally
