I strongly condemn the violence and intimidation witnessed in Homa Bay and other parts of the country. Political differences must never justify attacks on fellow Kenyans, journalists, leaders or destruction of property. Those responsible, regardless of affiliation must be independently investigated and held accountable. Our security agencies must stand up and protect every Kenyan’s right to disagree peacefully. We have only one country.

My submission at the Budget & Appropriations Committee. Kenyans this time round don’t want lip service they want to see action. I also raised the question of audit reports & whether they are really put into use to hold public servants to account both at national & county level

I was stuck in traffic for sometime earlier this evening and running late for a meeting and I decided to walk to the venue since it was not too far. While walking my Ammendment bill on the Roads act to compel the responsible agencies to ensure we have functional walkways, cycling paths made more sense. I am glad anytime from now it is to be scheduled on the order paper for second reading. We can’t possibly only think of those who can afford to drive and live out the majority as a nation! #SafeRoadsKe #InspiringSamburuWest #KeepingThePromise #KaziIongee NL

I am happy TSC after listening to the appeals of JSS teachers whose internship contracts had been terminated, they have started reinstating them back to work. My appeal to the teachers is they be patient as we deliberate and pass the budget for their PnP employment.
