Men don’t need sex. Our culture is so hypersexualized that the idea of a celibate priest leaves people in disbelief—as if it’s impossible. That’s heartbreaking. Have we really forgotten that self-control and virtue are within reach? Look at Jesus Christ. The most perfect man to ever walk the earth was celibate and sinless before He was crucified for our sins. Shouldn’t He be the supreme model for manhood? Self-mastery. Discipline. Total self-gift—all out of love. Priests choose celibacy so their hearts can belong entirely to God. As St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 7:32-35: “I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife, and his interests are divided... I say this for your own benefit... to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.” Abstinence isn’t just for priests—intermittent abstinence can also be a beautiful practice within marriage if a couple has a serious reason to delay bringing a baby into the world. When practicing Natural Family Planning (NFP), spouses can grow in self-mastery, deepen their love, and remain faithful to God’s design for marriage. Christ is the model. Love is the reason. Heartbreaking. A baby girl survived being stuffed in a toilet for 24 hours moments after being born. The newborn was found alive by a cleaner who heard the baby crying. By the grace of God, she is now healthy, weighing 6 pounds. This is what happens when we dehumanize children. Babies aren’t disposable products, they’re valuable human beings made in the image of God.

This is Akiane Kramarik. At just 5 years old, she inexplicably disappeared for 7 hours. Her parents searched frantically. Police had no answers. BREAKING: 21 children have been discovered in a Southern California home, all conceived via surrogacy. The discovery came after a local hospital reported suspected child neglect when a 2-month-old suffered severe head trauma, appearing to have been shaken, dropped, or subjected to a traumatic incident. When Arcadia police investigated, they found 21 children inside the home. The couple, Silvia Zhang and Guojun Xuan, are Chinese-born residents. These children were not welcomed into a loving family with a mother and father. They were intentionally created, separated from their biological mothers, and treated as products to satisfy adult desires. Surrogacy is not a loving form of adoption — it enables the commodification and trafficking of vulnerable children.
