With unwavering dedication and a heart for the people of Kitgum, I step forward in this critical phase of our democratic process with humility, courage, and a renewed commitment to serve. My nomination marks not only a significant milestone in my leadership journey, but also a powerful symbol of the trust and hope that the people of Kitgum continue to place in visionary, servant-driven leadership. Together with Hon Rugumayo Edson, MP, Hon Rwemulikya Ibanda, RDC Madam Monica Karungi.K. Hon. Kasolo William the LC5 Chairman, the CAO and other District leaders of Ntoroko district, we visted and mapped out disaster prone areas in Ntoroko district. Our first visit was in Kayanja One in Bwelamule Sub-county where, the banks of River Semliki normally burst and destroys people’s homes and property. The second visit, was at the school and the camp in Kanara Sub county. We agreed to find land and relocate the fishing community as well as do more construction of dike as mitigation measures to protect the cattle keeping community from the effects of Floods.
