plus the timelapse trying to improve at coloring simply while not letting it look dull--I like bold, high contrast inking and I want to focus it more, but I tend to over-literalize the rendering and that ends up detracting from it imo. some day i'll figure it out

plus the timelapse! been a while since I've been able to finish a regular old piece--this was a really fun change of pace! I had a lot of fun messing around with techniques I don't normally use + be inefficient, for once. I hope it all came together!

plus the timelapse! always hated coloring anything, but I've been painting a lot more lately because it helps make straightforward metal pieces feel a lot more organic and fun. ive always been a very rigid illustrator... i want to be more spontaneous
