Team Botswana 🇧🇼 & Team South Africa 🇿🇦 said their 4x400m relays medals were for AFRICA!!! (Letsile Tebogo made everyone do my interview together 🥹💜)

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden is actually a good sport, she has kindly asked for you guys to refer to her as Mrs Glasses please 🤣 Separately, she said the next 2 years is about to be FUN!!! 😳😩

Just remembered that I asked Noah Lyles about his mind games tactics after he won the 200m & his response completely threw me off 😭😭

“I’m very proud of myself. I feel like I won because I’ve been preparing myself, running for 5 consecutive years, running 6, 7, 8 races a year and that’s called winning. Not just showing up two or three times a year.” Marileidy Paulino 🇩🇴 after the 400m final today.

“My country never made me feel like winning a Gold medal at the Rio Olympics was a big deal 💔” Omar McLeod 🇯🇲 has had to work through a whole lot & I can only commend him for his openness about that. Please watch the full 6 minute interview 😔:

“This season has been rough. Jamaica loves winners & once you don’t win, they don’t support you. I’ve been battling with a lot of injuries but I know what I can do, I felt it in training!” My brief interview with Yohan Blake 🇯🇲🫶🏾 Full interview:

I’m Human Enough To Feel Disappointed” Julien Alfred 🇱🇨 got a bit emotional as she explained the cramp she experienced right before the 100m Final. Said she’s still grateful to be leaving with hardware because she didn’t in 2023!

“I’ve been running far better than 21.5 in practice!” Julien Alfred 🇱🇨 after setting a new Meeting Record at the London Diamond League yesterday 😳😭

“I feel disrespected by Netflix” Marie-Josée Ta Lou-Smith 🇨🇮 opened up about not being included in the final cut of the Netflix documentary SPRINT, despite them following her around all year 😔 MARIE JOSEE TA LOU-SMITH Full interview:

“I don’t think it will take me long to break the 200m World Record, it’s about 10 metres away from me!” Our 200m Olympic Champion, Letsile Tebogo 🇧🇼

“This Is My Faithful Medal” Shericka Jackson 🇯🇲 added a Bronze medal to her long list of World Championship accolades and explains what this medal signifies after everything she has been through 🥹💜

“I’m due a 1:53… This season is going to be a ‘delayed but not denied’ type moment for me!!” Our 800m World Record holder, Keely Hodgkinson 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Your World 100m SILVER medallist, ladies & gentlemen. THE Tina Clayton 🇯🇲

TIL Presents: Africa’s Running Nation 🇰🇪 Thank you for letting me document your beautiful culture Kenya, I will be back 💜

This is Laura Zialor. She ruptured her Achilles Tendon whilst competing for Great Britain at the European Team Championships last week & instead of British Athletics supporting her with surgery fees, she has had to start a GoFundMe 😕… RIDICULOUS.

When Marie Josée Ta Lou-Smith speaks, the athletes listen. It’s so nice seeing how much she loves & cares for the younger athletes coming up 😭💜 Featuring Jessika Gbai 🇨🇮, McKenzie Long 🇺🇸 and Thelma Davies 🇱🇷

“I was questioning if I was still able to be the athlete I dreamed to be” Rhasidat Adeleke 🇮🇪 got a little emotional after bagging a 200m Silver medal at the European Championships but SHE’S BACK!!! 🥹💜

A sincere apology. Thank you Poet 💜

“I’m just in a better space right now. I’m thankful to Jamaica for identifying my talent & building me, but the leaders of the sporting entity broke me. So I’m thankful to Turkey for rebuilding me.” Jaydon Hibbert after his 17.02m jump at the Rome Diamond League 💜

A gentle reminder why Americans cussing British food will never ever phase me.
