Destiny Rogers is a singer and songwriter whose career received a major boost when Lisa featured her song “Tomboy” in LILIFILM: The Movie in 2021. At a time when Destiny was at one of the lowest points in her career, Lisa’s dance cover brought renewed attention to her music. After the dance cover, Lisa and Destiny were eventually connected through a third person, and what began from that moment grew into a genuine friendship that has continued to this day. I’m not Thai, but I feel proud of everything she’s done for Thailand. Through subtle but powerful moves, she’s helped bring global recognition to the country — its culture, food, places, fashion, and the way people see Thailand. As an Asian, I feel proud every time she chooses to wear and uplift Asian fashion designers on the world stage.
