Brandon Mitchell is a registered sex offender. He and partner Logan Riley hired a surrogate so they could obtain a child. Pennsylvania law prevents sex offenders from adopting children— But NOT from purchasing them via surrogacy. Child protective services should investigate immediately.

Khloé Kardashian once offered her brother’s sperm to a friend without permission. It gets worse. Khloé was speaking with her friend, actress Malika Haqq, about her desire to grow her family. Malika already has one child with rapper O.T. Genasis. The two women discussed the idea of using ART for Malika to have another baby. Malika said she needed to hurry because if she waited too long, she wouldn’t be able to carry the baby on her own. “I don’t want to be 42 or 45 and pregnant,” she said. “I fought for this body. But if I am going to carry, it has to happen almost now because I am not a spring chicken. If I was going to use a surrogate then I would have time.” So Khloé offered up her brother to Malika, without asking him first. Malika and Rob had a previous romantic relationship. “Why don’t we just ask Rob to give you some sperm? He’s a good catch,” Khloé said. She immediately called him. On the surprise phone call, Khloé said she had a “real serious – like, Bible serious” question for Rob. “Malika wants to have another kid,” Khloé said. “And she was gonna go to a sperm bank to get sperm, but I just said, why not get it from you?” Rob responded that he couldn’t physically do so, but Khloé pushed him as he became irritated and repeatedly said, “I can’t…” Khloé said. “So, we could — you just simmer on this conversation, OK?” In a follow-up confessional, Khloé added that her brother is “disgusting” and said she didn’t think there was really a problem. Khloé also offered Malika one of her own children — a frozen embryo she shares with Tristan Thompson, the father of her two born children. Malika eventually went to a sperm bank, where Page Six reported she chose a “platinum sperm donor,” highlighting the eugenic nature of sperm donation and the fertility industry. She became emotional while there, however, and said she was not certain she would go through with it. The insistence on Rob becoming a sperm donor was surprising, considering how candid Khloé herself has been about her own struggles with ART and surrogacy. Last year, she described the process as “transactional,” and said she struggled to bond with her son, Tatum, afterward. “[The] surrogate process — Kim knows — is very hard for me. It’s a mindf***,” she said. “It is really the weirdest thing. I do feel less connected. People do say it takes a minute to feel connected but Kim said hers was easy. This is not easy.” This entire situation exemplifies the problems with surrogacy. Sex is turned into a transaction. Children are turned into products. It’s time to ban surrogacy.

Smallville's Supergirl actress Laura Vandervoort reveals painful miscarriage on Instagram. Her post is heartbreaking. "Hi Mommy, it's been a month. I never got the chance to introduce myself. I would love to be your baby, but God said I should be Mommy and Daddy's angel. I promise, Mommy, I will wait for that special moment until I can finally hug you. I will watch over you and Daddy. I'll miss you forever." In the caption, Vandervoort wrote that she was 11 weeks pregnant, and that two months later, the loss is still painful. "Miscarriage loss is a loss. A death that has no funeral and a life no one knew existed but a few," she wrote. "We heard your heartbeat, twice. The second time it was stronger than before. Plans that were made, nursery ideas in my heart, excitement and hope. Fear and love. Moving through the past few months has been a challenge in many ways. Every week I know how far along I would have been. Every pregnancy announcement stabs in ways I wish it wouldn’t. Every pregnant woman I see I wonder if that’s what I would have looked like. Our visit to the emergency room that day was made even more traumatizing by a doctor who told us our babies [sic] heart had stopped in front of an entire waiting room of people. But we move forward in the day to day activities, like nothing happened. But something did happen... something life changing and devastating for us both. And it's still heavy. You are never forgotten little one. 💔” She urged more people to be open about the grief of pregnancy loss: "I wish more people would have discussions about this as it’s incredibly common yet at the time we felt very isolated in the experience," she said. "Keep the conversations going." Every baby’s life has value. We’re so sorry for this couple’s loss 💔 Source: Cassy Cooke/Live Action News

The Supreme Court changed our sex lives forever. It’s been one year since Roe v. Wade was overturned, which means they’ve been making abortion illegal everywhere. So these are dark times. “I live in constant fear of a baby somehow finding its way into my uterus.”

Countless women have spoken out about seeing their baby after taking the abortion pill. Some have even shared photos of their babies on Reddit. The abortion pill doesn't make a preborn baby magically disappear. It kills them, and leaves women to deliver their dead children alone in the toilet. This is the horrific reality of the abortion pill. We must urge the FDA to pull this deadly drug from the market.

Chelsea is a surrogate mother who gave birth to a baby on behalf of a wealthy couple. Then they abandoned the baby. Chelsea says she was left with the baby, and both parents refused to pay any money towards the little girl’s care. Chelsea managed to get by for a year raising the child herself. Then the parents came back. “The [couple is] back together after a year and they want their child. I love her so much, I can’t let her go. What should I do?” Surrogacy has turned into a “Handmaid’s Tale”-style epidemic, with less-fortunate women like Chelsea being hired by wealthy couples to have children for them. However, the women used as surrogates and the babies they carry are frequently treated not as human beings, but as commodities.

Disney’s latest short film highlights a father’s grief after infant loss. The creator says he based the story on his own experience. “I had never gone into the nursery. I’d never been able to.” The film beautifully illustrates the value of life in the womb. We need MORE life-affirming content like this!
