Her son was killed by the IDF. He was a Hamas hostage and he was mistaken for a terrorist when he tried escaping from Gaza. Not only did she forgive the soldiers who killed her son but she insisted on meeting them and to show she wasn’t mad. “He cried from the minute he saw me… for an hour he just cried and cried, and I tried to comfort him.” “I told him, we are not sitting at home just crying - we are doing things for Yotam.
