The Texas Senate and I have been working with the House to ban THC in Texas. Since May, the Texas Senate has taken bold action to protect our communities. Texas will not become California or Colorado; regulation is legalization. We must ban all THC products. CBD and CBG will continue to be legal. Texans expect action—and the Senate will continue delivering until SB 6 becomes law. #txlege

Recently, there have been many questions raised about the integrity of the Texas Lottery. Last night, an $83 million winning ticket was sold in Austin. Turns out, the retail establishment that sold the winning ticket in the front of the store was owned by the courier service that purchased the ticket behind the wall in the back of the store. In the current special legislative session, testimony to ban THC in Texas was powerful, just like we heard in the regular session. Senate Bill 5 is a total ban on THC. Of course, CBD and CBG products will still be legal and available. #txlege

Last month, I paid a surprise visit to a lottery store operated by a courier service owned by the sports betting company DraftKings. Within a week, the Texas Lottery Commission suddenly banned all courier services, and the Texas Rangers launched a broad-scope investigation into the Lottery Commission. Yesterday, I paid a surprise visit to another industry. I stopped in several smoke and vape Shops selling THC products. Senate Bill 3 will ban Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC products. Stay tuned; this is not the last of my on-the-street investigative reports.
