Shane Warne made arguably cricket’s hardest skill look deceptively simple. Leg-spin demands an awkward grip, precise wrist and finger action, huge revolutions and control to combine fight, dip, turn and accuracy. There is very little margin of error. Warne mastered it like few ever have.

A mountain moved — and an entire valley changed in minutes. 💔 On august 26, 2026, a catastrophic flood and debris-flow disaster struck the Himalayan region near the Nepal-Tibet border. Investigators believe a massive high-altitude glacier and ice-rock collapse triggered a violent surge of rock, mud, ice sediment and water through the valley below. The resulting flood tore through communities, roads, bridges and hydropower infrastructure along the mountain river systems. What begin high in the Himalayas became a devastating wall of debris and water downstream. A week later, the scale of tragedy remains difficult to comprehend. Rescue teams continue searching for survivors, including people believed to be trapped inside damaged hydropower tunnels. The Himalayas are along the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth — but steep terrain, unstable geology, glaciers, intense rainfall and fast-moving mountains rivers can combine into devastating cascading disasters. What begins as a collapse high in the mountains can become a moving mass of rock, ice, mud and water with warning. Thought with everyone affected, the families still waiting for answers, and the rescue teams working is incredibly difficult conditions. 💔
